Yeah, it is disgusting how they, and many other cheaters continue being heralded.

And Lamont Cheaterson even still got his title too :patsch

Vitali Klitschko is a proven cheat and he's heralded by many (not including muself) as an ATG.

He also happens not to be an American.

The only "cheaters" are the ones who get caught. You'd have to be pretty ****ing naive to believe that had these guys been clean there would have been any sort of even playing field. I guarantee you they all fought plenty of guys who were also roided... ****, both Roy and Richard Hall were caught with elevated testosterone levels before their fight, and Hall's were even higher.

Did he rely on insane power speed and stamina the way Shane and Roy did? No. He was just a massive ******* with a granite chin, fighting in a **** era

I dont buy that cliche. Marquez and Mayweather are the two modern day stands outs for me - guys who their entire career have relied on immense skill over "superman" physical powers

Oh, so it's only cheating if you're fast, hit hard and have good stamina? Okay then.

So by your logic they wouldn't be cheating if they took 'roids, correct? :think

Steroids is often a colloquial term for PEDs, amongst non-scientists. I might be quite cynical but I believe a lot of the great boxers did some kind of PEDs is some fights in the past, be it stimulants, weight-cutting stuff, testosterone booster, steroids or whatever.

If Roy Jones was found for stimulated testosterone then that would help build punching muscles and reflexes and aid recovery after training. As I said, this would aid Jones more than others, as his boxing was reliant on being physically superior, not superior in terms of skills, but of doing super-human things that other boxers never could.

Drugs have been rife in many sports always, but there was no proper testing. Carl Lews, Lance Armstrong, Marion Jones - so many other legends including boxers have been indicted.

Sports legends are often largely media creations. I don't think it matters if something was available over the counter or not - a sports-person is liable for whats put in their body.

I'm glad they do more strict drug testing now I ****ing hate cheaters, to insecure in their ability so they have to rely on fake bull**** modern chemicals, every fighter should be tested at random! And if you get caught 2x instant lifetime ban
Boxing should do like baseball,Bonds ,Canseco, and McGuire will NEVER see the hof, neither should, Holyfield, Mosley,Jones, or that fat fraud Toney...
The only thing is the boxing hof is so cheap and watered down they will let anybody in even a comic book actor like Stallone who's been making fake unrealistic movies for decades.
    Hell is Butterbean in yet??

Who does more strict testing today? Boxing?

One scheduled **** test before or after the fight is the industry standard, my friend. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find out that every single professional boxer in the world is taking something illegal to try to help their performance. We're talking potentially tens of millions of dollars to be had if they reach the top of the sport and very little chance of getting caught if you cheat the right way.

When did Margarito use peds???? Show me one iota of proof Tony Margarito did anything illegal that enhanced his perfomance & you may be taken seriously.
Tony Margarito was railroaded by that POS Nazim Richardson's blatent lies & the corrupt CSAC. What happened to the blocks Richardson claimed fell from Margarito's wraps???? After extensive testing all that was found was a HARMLESS used gauze pad. The piece de resistance came when the CSAC was asked to produce this pad. The embarassed CSAC rep stammered & stuttered Err Errr we mislaid it we dont have it any more.
All Tony Margarito did wrong was kick Miguel Cotto's ass when he wasnt supposed to. He cost Oscar & Mayweather big $$$$$$ fights coz neither had the balls to fight Margarito in the ring he was railroaded and got rid of this way :patsch
