You trying to tell me that guys like Manuel Charr, Francesco Pianeta, Mariusz Wach, Derrek Chisora, Tony Thompson, Seth Mitchell, Chris Arreola aren't going to go down as ATG?

HW division is loaded with talent. The level of competition is so high that US boxers are having a hard time competing at that level. There is no US boxer in Ring top 5 HW list for the first time in history of the sport.

If the haters' hero, such as their hero Wilder were the champion, they would be claiming that today's heavyweights were the best in history. They would love to see Wilder fight Sconiers again.............However, The Klitschkos have had all the championships, so they claim the division is not good, but they do think that Wilder is the greatest heavyweight of all time. Wilder is ranked #3 WBC, yet he has never fought anyone even nearly ranked...............how did he do that? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?????????????

I really can't believe that you take anything you post seriously. You have to be trolling? Who, aside from a very small minority, is calling Wilder a threat, let alone the greatest of all time?

I also love how you insinuate that Wilder has bought that ranking, but when accusations are leveled at Wlad or Vitali for influencing the governing bodes, then suddenly the story changes and they have no power to do so!

No, I want Bremen to respond, He ducks every question I ask him.

But if you think this division as it stands compares well to the 90's or late 80's you're sadly mistaken.

Yeah, Price looked like a monster too until caught with a cuffing right hand by 40 years old Tony Thompson. He was a 6'8" monster with crushing power and tremendous size...it's easy to pump someone up until they get hit. The jury is out on Wilder until he fights someone not waiting to fall down.

The very fact that he can attain such a high ranking despite fighting nobody of note speaks volumes about the lack of talent in the division.

I won't respond to your comments on Foreman or Frazier because they've become boring and you'll deliberately never give them any credit, so...yeah.

Being most dominant is not necessarily due to your skills-though it must contribute-but to the level of competition. And we just do not see the same skills & toughness you do for the current crop Elroy. Also there is a big difference between "ATG" as usually defined, & "competitive in any era". The latter can be a top 10 guy who may give anyone trouble, but may not be favored against the best of the best.

The K brothers are around the bottom of the top 10 all time HWs to me. People can honestly disagree, & many dismiss all modern boxers OR disparage the older generations. Size is one advantage, but you go to an extreme in its valuation & assuming that bigger means better. Frazier not an ATG when he was so dominant from '67-until '73 is not rational.

And you do not like the modern guys dismissed, but you would have Norton, Bugner, Wepner, Quarry, Lyle, Liston, Chuvalo, Bonovena, Terrell, Young & others losing to, say, Mark Gastineau due to size.

You believe you are a Clarion Call for truth, & do serve a useful purpose in reigning in the excesses of sentiment & dismissal of modernity. But you suffer from reverse-rose colored glasses & wishful thking yourself.

I never said Thompson was a bum. But his main claim to fame is fighting Wlad twice, and beating Price. Who has Thompson beat other than Price, who may well have been overhyped to begin with?

I think he looks okay on film, not great or anything. A middling and reasonably skilled fighter.

No I don't, because Frazier beat the best of his era and Wilder hasn't done ****. As I said, it's easy to pump up anyone by listing their physical attributes to make them out to be some kind of monster. Let's see him get tagged, and then we'll talk about Wilder.

Wilder hasn't done anything to deserve to even be mentioned in the same breath as Joe.

Let's look at top 10. There are 3 olympic champs: Wlad, Povetkin, Solis. Adamek is multiple weight classes champ. Chagaev is former WBA champ and 2 times amateur boxing world champ. There are also a few undefeated prospects on top of that. The division is loaded with talent.
