Implementing an effective jab seems to go hand in hand in being the better boxer.

Was Floyd out jabbed by De La Hoya?

Not sure on the figures but Kessler was a very textbook fighter and Joe Calzaghe was very unorthodox, Kessler may have out jabbed him but got outboxed

    Again no hard figures

I'd have to watch it again but didn't Bradley keep that jab flicking against Pacquiao despite the majority of people believing Pacquiao outboxed him?

Yeah, that's a good example because I believe most people would say Bradley is a better boxer than Manny, but during the match Bradley's jab was weak but still considered a jab. If he had put more force or commitment to the jab to show he was controlling the action, maybe his victory would not have been so controversial.
