Theres nothing worse in boxing than watching blinkered fanboys blindly defending their idol and pretending that drug cheating is not beneficial to the performance level of the fighter involved.

All the fighters know exactly what they can and can't take, they know full well that their entire career will have a question mark over it forever if caught cheating - its a calculated gamble that the likes of Jones, Toney, Mosley, Holyfield, Berto, Tarver, Peterson, Morales, Rios etc have all taken.

For too long in boxing, the slack drug testing has allowed cheats to prosper over clean competitors and at last we seem to be getting a truer reflection on who the best clean boxers are out there.

So if you are a blinkered fanboy on here who blindly defends your drug cheating idol, my message to you is simple - Quit your pu$$y crying and quit your man crush on your idol, quit your pathetic excuses and support the sport of Boxing in outing, ridding and shaming boxers who have put the lives of fellow boxers further in danger by choosing to take banned substances that have illegally improved their performance.

Yea it's kinda hard to cheat when you have to take the **** test before and after the fight!
And money isn't the issue, it's the integrity of the sport, why do you think the Olympics of today have such strict testing! To weed out all the trash.

If you get busted for peds.
1st offense 2 year ban from fighting anywhere in the Usa.
2nd offense- Lifetime ban, no exceptions if you want to fight again oh well go to Mexico, or someplace far away.
And of course if you get caught, you lose your whole paycheck..
Maybe this will separate the real men from the dope and the frauds..

The most disgusting aspect in all this cheating is that it has taken 14 years to finally acknowledge that steroid cheats like Roy Jones Jnr are an absolute disgrace to the sport of boxing by the disgraceful Ring magazine

    http://ringtv.craveonline.com/blog/1...-tests-are-out

The recent spate of failed drug tests has underscored an obvious – and troubling – problem in boxing.

That fighter would be reinstated if the testing agency reverses its decision. And he will be allowed to earn his way back into the ratings after any suspension.

Here is the new RING policy:
THE RING will remove from its ratings any rated fighter – including a champion – if such fighter at some point undergoes drug testing (Olympic-style or otherwise) and that fighter tests positve for a banned substance.

A fighter who is removed because of a postitive test will have the opportunity to earn his way back into the ratings after any suspension period is completed.
A fighter who is dropped also may be reinstated if the testing agency subsequently reverses its decision or a court of competent jursidiction finds that the test result was invalid

No, it's very, very easy to cheat (and get away with it) when you know exactly when you'll be tested and exactly how long whatever you're using stays in your system.

Not without testing protocols that are actually designed to catch people cheating. As it stands today, most professional sports, including boxing, are only doing pretty much the bare minimum just to be able to say that they have a "steroid policy" and testing in place.

Olympic style random drug testing should be introduced. was obvious pac was on ped's a couple of years back when he was smashing people into oblivion incredible hulk style. is GGG next PED-a-file to be exposed? adonis Stevenson too. What ever though, RJJ was a boss and the most entertaining boxer ever imo

Well some of the top fighters have been doing extra testing for recent fights so that's a positive step.

That is exactly what boxing needs is Olympic style random hardcore drug testing, hopefully that will be a step in the right direction, and get rid of of the dopers, and the frauds that kill and ruin the sport.

Anytime I hear "Roids" I think of James "Taps Out" steroid Toney. Or am I misinformed that Toney was busted for steroids more than once? Could explain his delusional bravado.

You test positive, your legacy is tainted. To whatever degree the beholder sees fit...

These forums house a lot of folks who believe that every kind of PED make boxers worse in training and fights, so don't take anything PED related on this site as serious at all. Their opinion is irrelevant as they are factually wrong.
