How broke is Holyfield?

I've SCENE somewhere that he made some controversial statements regarding homo***uality. He says that the Bible shows a person how to behave and implied that it was a disorder and that homo***uals should see doctors to treat and fix it.

Chalk up one of a laundry list of reasons for me not to like Holyfield.

His on a 6 figure deal to sit in a house, eat free food and talk about how gay 'isnt normal' as he said.

You would do the same if you had a little money trouble.

Hate to go out of topic here but I believe, and I'm sure you do too, that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If Holyfield believes that homo***uality is a bad thing then that's also his personal opinion regardless of how offensive it may be to people and homo***uals.

Everyone can have their opinion, absolutely. But there is right and there is wrong. Ignorance is a choice.

I won't tolerate serious derogatory racial comments aimed at a friend just as I wouldn't tolerate anti-homo comments aimed at a friend. Anyone who does for any number of civil rights and liberties is almost certainly a hypocrite in some degree but more importantly, in my opinion, a coward.

 

Here's an example. I am a random person who thinks homo***uality is wrong but never forced others out of it or insulted them but personally believe its wrong. You believe homo***uality is completely wrong and should be labeled a "disease" or illness. Does that mean, because certain people agree(there are groups for everything out there as you know), I'm right and you're wrong?

As I first stated, people can think the way they want to and should never feel ashamed of saying what they personally believe in as long as they don't harass, bully or force people.

What the media is doing to Holyfield, who's a public figure and can't really afford personal freedom, is bullying him for stating his opinion. He's a Christian and as all people know not only Christianity but religion in general is against homo***uality(brutally too) yet Holyfield hasn't(not that it has been reported, surely it will if something happened) abused anyone for their lifestyles. All he's doing is believing in his religion and that should be respected.

 

I never knew Holyfield was broke I just thought he had some money left. Damn it's like most of these Boxers go broke besides Foreman.
