Steroid Apologists like Ballet Poof, Liceman and cormega are basically just blinkered fanboys of PED using fighters who will do anything to protect their idol with delusional statements

Being a PED user improves the performance level of a fighter - FACT

Do you really believe a fighter would risk being known as a 'blatant cheat' and 'an absolute disgrace to the sport of boxing' forever if PED's didn't improve the performance of a fighter? :patsch

Some of these fanboys believe that their idol only ever cheated once :rofl

Fanboys of Roy Jones believed that he only juiced the once, they must believe that jones was thinking
    This content is protected

Every single one of these PED cheating disgraces have a carefully pre-planned excuse strategy ready for if they are ever dumb enough to fail a test "I refused to have my B sample tested because I took ripped fuel" - yeah sure you did Roy

Go listen to the bull**** that Peterson and Mosley came up with and yet all their gullable delusional fanboys go and repeat the same lines as though it is some kind of fact

These fanboys on esb aren't fans of boxing, they don't want the best clean athletes to succeed off a level playing field, they are simply gullable fanboys with a man-crush on their idol and will blindly defend him with delusional bull****

If PEDs don't improve performance, tell me which fighters performances have improved after they were caught juicing? :think

Its not rocket science for the steroid apologists to understand :

Ben Johnson was naturally a talented 10 second 100m runner not a 9.79 second runner

Lance Armstrong was naturally a top 20 Tour de France rider, not a 7 times winner.

Every single PED user should be identified, outed, banned and always have an asterisk against their name against all their achievements in the record books with a note at the bottom of the page saying :

    * proven cheat

Yes that is really my list, as an Irishman i am of course a hugh Frampton fan, GGG who desn't loving seeing a guy seek and destroy with that power. Cotto have been a fan for years a gent outside the ring and always entertaining inside. I can promise you if any of them get caught i won't be a fan any more.

And before steroids and other modern PED's developed as we knew them, there was just good ol' amphetamines to get the job done. The leagues and organizing bodies don't mind because they couldn't eliminate PED use if they wanted to. But why would they want to when.....

    1) They're the ones paying for testing. The tests themselves are expensive for anything but the most basic drugs

    2) If they catch everyone who's on them, the league's public image is crushed. Better to hide the results if a star gets busted.

    3) Juiced up athletes are good for business because fans overwhelmingly want to see the biggest, fastest, strongest athletes possible.

By pretending you want to crack down on PED's while being complicit and oblivious to their usage, it's enough of a shield for PR purposes to get the best of both worlds.

    1) PED usage absolutely helps a fighter increase their technical skills by decreasing recovery time and increasing stamina and speed. That allows for longer skills work, more frequently, at a higher quality. They're tools that allow you to be at least a level better than what you'd have been without them because they increase your work capacity.

If a fighter is in love with watching themselves lift weights in the mirror and simply wants to look like a comic book here, the PED's won't make them any more skilled.

    2) The answer is "a ton". Sports are loaded with PED's and they're essentially a cost of doing business now. It's more rare to find a clean athlete at the world level than someone who isn't doing everything they can to win.

    Terrific post mighty Beouche

Theres no doubt theres a real fear factor such is the violent maulings I have dished out to the likes of slopkins, kmac, liceman, ballet poof, queency k etc etc :deal

Many posters are intimidated by the sheer presence of the Team Elite General, the thriving empire, the unbeaten debate record, the unprecedented 2 million profile views, the boyish good looks, the mouth-wateringly delicious pawed range-finder jabs, the 13 inches on the slack, the stunning knowledge and the superior wit :yep

I liken my presence in debate to that of the stare-down between Mike Tyson and Michael Spinks - a fighter beaten before the 1st bell / poster's beaten before the 1st exchange in debate :gayfight

What we have here is a forum suffering from 'inferiority complex', a forum full of posters with everything to gain from entering into debate with a Team Elite General due to the huge exposure we command on a global basis, but ultimately a forum full of fart sauce swilling degenerates cowardly scurrying away from the forum colossus despite the golden opportunity to catapult themselves into ESB superstardom by taking the '0' from HEADBANGER :deal

Yes. The saddest part is, I had almost 50 profile views when I had 300 posts. 500 posts later and I have only gained an additional 5 :-(

Drug cheats are an absolute disgrace to the sport.

It pisses me off too how when they win a fight, but fail a drug test it gets changed to a NC rather than a loss by DQ as it should.

You can't say boxing's all about skill and then completely dismiss something illegal that can lead to better skills as being useless.

PED's allow for more skills work by reducing recovery time and increasing stamina, among other benefits. That's the point. :patsch

The most skilled fighters rise above the rest!!

Look at Vargas / Delahoya ! Vargas was roiled to the gills .

Please enlighten me as to the result of that match up?

If it improved your skill than Vargas would have beat the breaks off Oscar !

What did the PED 's do for Berto against Ortiz ?

I saw no improvements in Berto's skill in that match up !

I'm sick and tired of these arguments ! Does it give you added stamina sure maybe, give you more explosiveness possibly but it WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR SKILL!

I'll break this down as clearly as I can...

Let's say I can usually only work out 4 days a week. PED's allow me to get a 5th day in, and I use that day only for skills work. Guess what happens? I'll get more skilled than if I didn't take them.

The PED's alone didn't make me more skilled. They gave me the ability to improve my skills myself by allowing me to work harder.
