It wouldn't look like the Lucas fight, Lucas doesn't cut off the ring and hone in on his opponent as good as Provodnikov does. It would be an interesting fight for sure.

This. Ruslan would be way more relentless than Lucas was, Lucas tried to box with Garcia and look for one big shot, abandoning a lot of things that had worked well for him in previous fights.

Dude fell in love with his power.

it stems from peoples hatred for him (mainly because of his old man) i did not like the guy but the matthyse fight proved he was the real deal.

I don't know about that. Danny is there to be hit, but he has real power to hurt even Ruslan, along with speed. And his roids-enhanced chin took everything Lucas threw at it. I would favor Danny against Ruslan.

the bradley fight did sumthing to provo. after that fight he realized that he can hang with the best of them. so now he has a little bit of different mindset with more confidence.

ruslan/danny is such a great fight but we wont get it which sucks. but there still good fights for both guys. i would still have to pick danny to beat ruslan..i picked lucas to beat danny but those two guys are my two favorite fighters so it was hard to pick. after i seen danny beat kendall holt like nothin i seen enough right there i knew danny garcia had the skills and everything else.

he'll get beat in the same fashion that matthysse was beat. all that power means jack **** if there's no one there to be hit. simple boxing beats provodnikov. alvarado is not a boxer...even though he outboxed rios.

Garcia scrapped past lucas using every dirty tactic known to man he only traded with him in end of round 12 and that's when lucas started smiling

No. I like Ruslan but the events of the last year have vaulted him into a mythic stratosphere where he doesn't really belong.

Bradley fought him like an idiot to prove a point and regain hearts & minds.

Alvarado was coming off nineteen brutal rounds with Rios.

2013 was awesome for Provodnikov, and it showed he was more capable of rising up to any occasion than he was previously given credit for - but it did not prove him to be an elite on the level of Garcia.

Maybe. Wouldn't surprise me one bit, Ruslan is a beast. It's the logical fight at 140. Actually it makes sense at any weight really.
