Exactly. These people who have set up this "GGG fights Ward now or he sucks" argument are either pure haters or they have less understanding of business than my cat. The fight will happen. Everyone needs to be patient and buy the PPV when it's on.

Everybody wants that kind of money fight. Can hardly blame him for that. Its the nationalistic fans claiming Floyd is ducking that are a joke, not GGG.

Ward, will batter this guy at ant stage of there careeers, lets stop giving the guy a pass! While floyd, gets condemned for not facing career middleweights!

I agree Ward beats him, but GGG should at least be given time to let the anticipation and fight build so they can make some money.

I doubt the fight gets much bigger than it is now. Ward might not even be fighting at SMW anymore after 2014.

If GGG gets and beats Martinez the fight would be huge. I don't see Ward having any weight issues and expect this fight will be made around the end of 2014. Just a guess on my part though.

I, at this point, don't see GGG beating Ward, so you might be right about that, but both camps want to wait for the bigger money, and that's the right business plan. So no one is giving anyone a pass here.

Whoever says Floyd is ducking career middleweights is being ridiculous.

I doubt it. Martinez is not a big name. I get the feeling this one of those fights that never gets made. The circumstances don't seem to be right.

Right. A couple of key fights on both sides and the fight becomes much larger. I was thinking mid-2015, but we'd all be guessing at this point.

Martinez, past it or not is the lineal champion. That win cements GGG as the man in the division and gives him more leverage in a possibly Ward fight. If Golovkin really wants Ward and Andre is still at 168 than this fight will be made.

We'll see. Dawson was the lineal champ at LHW and that gave him very little leverage in his fight against Ward.

Which is why Golovkin's team wants nothing to do with Ward. They're not stupid and fully realize what a Ward fight entails...

I think this is what Golovkin's handlers are betting on. Nobody @ 160 seems interested but there are lots of names @ 168. The only problem with Golovkin moving up now is that Ward is there wainting for him - and he'd take that fight in a heartbeat...

...it entails leaving quite a bit of unfinished business at 160. That's not the plan. The Ward fight will happen one way or the other, and can wait plenty for money's sake.
