I simply ask this question to see some real responses as I previously went at it with some dude on twitter who swears he was going to son everyone who tried to argue. I think both are underrated if anything
They're completely different fighters? I'd imagine the twitter dude was either pro-Garcia/Cotto (Puerto Rican) or anti-Garcia/Cotto (Mexican)

Cotto is overrated. I don't know how many times a guy can be rejuvenated and given so many excuses for past loses. Garcia is underrated. He doesn't do any one thing exceptionally well but is well rounded so nothing really sticks out. But he just wins.
i think both are rated just about right, although the over the hill cotto now is holding on to the legacy he had during his prime so he is a bit overrated now, just a bit.
It's just funny how many have said the same about boxers only to hear them later putting Judah on a pedestal!!! That one is hard to figure!!!
when u put it all into perspective....and realize how many boxers there are in the u.s....bump that! how many boxers there are in the world....and how very few of them are able to box as primary profession...and even fewer are able to win world titles....neither fighter is overrated. the real problem is that any unqualified joe can comment on the sport and its' participants on some lame ass site and ppl take those comments seriously without thinking for themselves. overrated my ass. smh.
