his fist was clenched. it went from his cheek to a prodding position. again...matthysse turned into that fist face first. all danny had to do was keep it in place to land it. it's called placing a shot. i teach this to my guys and explain...sometimes an opponents aggression will do him in. i've hurt guys with similar shots when i used to fight. it's not hard to do especially against wild face first brawlers like matthysse.

 

i thought mikey was trained by his pops in the beginning? i seem to recall hearing that somewhere.

nonito was a finished product when he got to garcia. donaire's pops is the one that taught him to fight.

 

are you nuts ? mattysse hits much harder then danny go ask judah and nazim richardson who worked with both of them danny just won becouse he was trying to avoid getting into a fight go watch the fight every time mattysse lands even a soft punch it moved danny and he grabbed him

 

I had Matthysse winning the first 5 & maybe one other, the kd definately won it for Garcia. The judges also had it very close.

judging by the way they both looked at the end of the fight...i have to say danny hit much harder. matthysse landed his best punch and danny ate it and kept going.

again...lucas aggression did him in on that shot to his eye. danny didn't even turn into it. he just placed it. that eye didn't swell on its own.

 

It was close, thats why the outcome & low blows/ref/eye are still being debated. If Garcia won with ease & cruised to an easy decision win there wouldn't be any complaints.

 

the complaints are coming from matthysse fans who are butt hurt that their guy was made to look ordinary by a superior boxer.

"danny will never agree to fight matthysse."

"we have the new manny pacquiao!!!"

and all the other bull**** that was spewed by ppl who don't know **** about boxing. of course they're going to complain rather than admit they had that one wrong. i tried to tell anyone here that would listen. matthysse isn't all that.

danny took that kid to school and made it look easy. i scored it 9-3 maybe 8-4 tops. danny was in control.

danny already showed how easy it is to beat matthysse. porter is going to apply the same formula. matthysse may be done on the upper levels.

 

last i checked....both landed very solid shots on each other.

one guy fell...one guy didn't.

you may be right....matthysse might be the harder puncher. if that's the case, danny has the better chin.

 

the only time garcia full on traded with matthysse was at end of round 12 becouse he knew he will hear the bell he wouldnt of done that before also when he traded with him at the end of round 12 garcia was hurt
