Klitards are avoiding this thread like their lives depend on it. It just proves that Wlad is seen as boring by most because he is boring. Has nothing to do with race or nationality.
If Fury was in there the poll reszult wouldn't be any different. Vlad ain't boring because he's a super heavyweight. I agree though, under the right circumstances he can be in a good fight. It just takes a Corrie Sanders to suprise us again.
The term "fight" should never be used in the same sentence as Wlads name. I like boxing when it has an element of thrill about it. Wlad wins contests by backpedalling and using his ginormous lomg reach. Thats nice for him, but considering his advantages i would like to see him throw off the old "slow and steady" mantra and go out and whoop someone like they stole his wife or something. He has all the tools, but prefers to play it out to the last bell, when he can end things way sooner with a little more determination:deal
Flawed "experiment" or a covert agenda? Could be a bit of both. Friends, I have difficulty believing the original poster seriously cannot conceive why the poll would fail to demonstrate what he is purportedly trying to. Putting a less fan friendly style against highly fan friendly styles does not say anything about racial preference. If you think so, I bid you to consider your logic and reasoning skills. Otherwise you will find yourselvves repeating such similar arguments as the tired notion of "Would employer X be more likely to hire applicant A of Y background, or B of Z background?" That is a baseless question as it presupposes or omits a lot of information, both about the applicants as well as the employer, the company, and other circumstances. It also overlooks the design flaw, that is, that a choice simply has to be made; and that it is impossible for us to know how, why, or what may come as a result; all the more so if there are extenuating circumstances such as an affirmative action quota which would render moot or at least significantly complicate the question. Is Wladimir less exciting than Fenech? Resoundingly so. Kovalev and Golovkin? Definitely. Kessler and Froch? Not sure. Could go either way. Nikolai Valuev, Francois Botha, Sven Ottke, Robert Helenius? No. How about some Westerners-- Chuck Wepner and Donny Lalonde? I am going to have to go with no. Then what? Where are we now, exactly? Right. Let's add Gene Tunney to the poll. Or would Dariusz Michaelewski be more fair or accurate in proving the "point"?
Wlad now has now than 10x the vote of every other option combined. WOW!! Do all these people hate the Klits or is he really just boring?
