More like FMJ would be facing someone much much much stronger and harder hitting, who also wont tire out. GGG keeps in the same type of 365 shape Floyd does, it wouldnt be a Drainelo type performance.

But anyhow, its silly, because it is such a physical mismatch. FMS says no to the fight, too much. May as well put FMJ in with Wlad.

Golovkin. Too strong, hits too hard, has too much amateur experience, too smart in the ring. Defensive wizard vs offensive boxer-puncher, hell of a matchup but one I, as a fan of Mayweather's talent, do not wish to see.

It takes a middleweight to beat a middleweight.

ill pick floyd to win by ud. even if ggg stopped floyd what would that really prove ? who's the better boxer ? i think not at some point the weight will make a difference. floyd walks around at 150 and fights at 146. so ggg would have almost 40 pounds over floyd, the jr ww walk around at a higher weight then floyd.

if floyd was atleast a natural 154 id pick him to stop ggg. but he's not and i give ggg a punchers chance the whole fight. do i think he is has skilled or great of a boxer HELL NO !!

now it seems people are looking for a MW ko artist to beat floyd. well if thats what it takes then so be it, but im still going with the better boxer at the end of the day. size and power is kinda overrated.

Lets put it this way at 154 GGG would destroy De La Hoya , Trinidad , Canelo , Cotto.

Floyd isnt a 154 fighter anyway so its a bit unfair.

Unfair match-up. Despite Mayweather's talent and skills, he's too small to compete with someone like Golovkin.

Make no mistake, Floyd wouldn't be winning the rounds against Golovkin, because GGG is too smart for that and would be hurting Floyd with body shots. And that's how the fight would probably end in a couple of rounds.

Now for the people picking Mayweahter because of the hype surrounding Golovkin, that's a wrong reason to think Floyd would stand any chance here. Also, don't compare Golovkin to Canelo, that's a mistake. Canelo had a whole country to back him and his hype up. He had zero amateur pedigree and was carefully matched against the suitable opponents. Golovkin is surrounded by hype because of the skills and talent he demonstrated, he had an impressive amateur record and has been knocking the guys out all the way back from the amateurs, and those were skilled, well-schooled boxers. He is probably the most avoided guy in his division despite being the champion, but that will change as soon as his name becomes bigger. So yeah, Golovkin has been on this level before, it's a mistake to compare him to Canelo's case.

Once again, it's an unfair match-up because of the size and strength difference, if they were the same size, that would be another story. Mayweather is a welterweight, who could probably fight even at light-welter. His max limit is light middleweight, but fighting a middleweight who is that bigger and stronger is too much for him. At the end of the day, he must be really good if people want to fight the guy from MW, or should we say some people badly want him to lose.

haha. I'm no Floyd apologiser but it does make me laugh how desperate people are to see him lose. Cotto, Canelo, Hatton, Pac etc. People will always come up with someone new that he 'won't fight'.

Grow ups kids, he's a guy you've never met. Don't allow yourself to get so worked up over a stranger.
