Carlos Molina now seems to be out of the running for the Canelo fight. My theory is that they will put him on the undercard. If they do who would you like to see him fight? Potential options: Kirkland rematch, Lara rematch, unification with Andrade, other What do you think?
I can see any of those fights happening you could also add someone like Charlo to that list. I could be wrong but I think Bundrage-Hernandez is some sort of IBF eliminator so,if true, that could be an option. My guess would be GBP tries again to make Molina-Ortiz(if Ortiz gets by Collazo). If Ortiz takes Molina's title he probably fights Alvarez on ppv later this year. It would be a quick turnaround but if Ortiz beats Collazo it wouldn't be surprising to see Molina-Ortiz on the undercard of Alvarez's fight with Angulo.
Lately, yes. But go back and watch Molina v Lara. Molina actually doesn't clinch much and lands so many good combinations.
Agreed. Lara has been stuck in reverse ever since that fight. He's horrible to watch...he backs up more than Canelito.
lara rematch would be nice... and man the kirkland ending was so shitty. molina was beating kirkland pretty good but kirkland was coming on to molina at the end and it was still a toss up fight to me at that point. a rematch would be nice but we shouldnt need one cuz the first fight shoulda ended properly. molina/andrade as well those are all bouts that makes sense.
