Canelo and GGG fight nothing alike. If you're picking Floyd based on this comparison, you are mistaken. Canelo tries to mostly box from the outside while GGG applies constant and calculated pressure. Two completely different styles.

golovkin got a puncher chance and thats it hes way too slow and predictable...im a big fan of ggg but if a guy like Stevens made it to the 8 round no doubt Floyd isnt getting koed and win a UD

Stevens was a LHW who came down to 168. Floyd is a natural WW. Huge difference in size. It's apples and oranges.

Not that relevant really. Golovkin has no meaningful fights at 154 and would probably be drained. He wouldn't catch Mayweather flush once for the entirety of the fight. Power means nothing when you are up against the P4P #1 who'll box your ears off. Golovkin is miles worse at virtually everthing other than raw power and even that is untested at LMW. Just assuming that a 154 version of Golovkin is the same boxer as him at MW is ridiculous.

You don't know about size difference do you? Or more importantly, the drastic difference in style between GGG and Canelo.

I was only reminding you that GG isn't the only fighter on earth that did well in the amats.

That's not relevant in this discussion because Floyd is an ATG and is proven in the pros while many question GGGs pro resume. But he beat Dirrell and Bute in the ams, who were elite pros.

A past his prime Cotto landed on Floyd. I think the bigger, stronger, prime GGG would land on Floyd.

It's a lot easier to hit the body than the head and that's where GGG would go after relentlessly from the opening bell. He is great at cutting off the ring and applying smart pressure. So people saying GGG would hit nothing but air are mistaken imo.

And there is no shame in losing to a guy as good as Dirrell.
