Margarito is a retired cheat with a bust up eye, Castillo is still fighting (at welterweight) but is way past his prime, punching above his weight and losing to guys he would obliterate in his prime. Personally I thought Mayweather just about edged the first fight and then put doubts to rest in a second fight, improved and is still champion today

I dont like Floyds persona, i cant stand the people he associates himself with, im sick to death about all the talk of money this money that but when it boils down to the pure facts Mayweather is 45-0, has 4 fights left (49-0?) has defeated solid competition bar the occasional Robert Guerrero / possible Amir Khan type opponents, has won titles from superfeather to superwelter numerous times and has a great dedication to the sport.

As a person Mayweather comes across as a dick, never met him and cant judge him

As a boxer Mayweather deserves to be P4P#1 and as he puts it holds all the cards right now. Hes trying to get as much money as possible from a Pacquiao bout without having to fill Arum's pockets.

All this being said I love both fighters, im a boxing fan first and foremost but I cant wait for them both to retire so we dont have to listen to this back and forth **** over and over

The only thing that realistically should bother Mayweather is related to the fight itself, surely. The guy is reaching.

if the fight doesnt happen, its on him.

now, he may not care about it, he says legacy dont pay bills, as long as he gets his money for the lowest risk he is happy.

unfortunately, life doesnt doesnt stop at 40. there is half a lifetime to live.

he may or may not blow his fortune gambling. if he does, not only does he have no legacy, now he is also poor.

now, if takes care of his money well and goes on to live comfortably, he cant go back rewrite his legacy.
