This is actually a good move by Canelo's management. Here is their strategy: Angulo should lose to Canelo, it should also be in a fashion where Canelo DOMINATES HIM. I think Canelo hits harder than Lara, and although his boxing skills aren't as good as Lara's his chin should save him from the KD's. Then when Canelo wins he will say "Oh yeah we aren't interested in fighting Erislandy Lara because he barely made it past him by getting knocked down twice and I dominated Angulo more than he did". It is a convient way to duck Lara. :deal
Dont forget the dormant eye injury Angulo is carrying into this fight, Canelo makes that swell up and well have another no mas on our hands (Although Angulo quitting at that point is more than understandable. more brains than lebedev)
He offered 152lb because void wanted 152lb...?atsch:shock: Flomatards are real stupid nicca's atsch
hes making a good point! You guys are so ****ing desperate. the guy get 2 Lost the world move heaven and earth to defend one then he beats a B fighter and become a god everywhere again. ****ing pathetic. Its turning me into a hater.
He's not making a good point. Pac's pound for pound rating is based on his entire resume, not one fight.
WTFatsch Current PFP rankings are mainly based on recent accomplishments not what you did 4-5 years ago. Losing two fights in a row, by any objective standards, should drop a fighter quite a bit down that list. And beating a Rios type fighter is not going to get you back to the top. SMFH!atsch
OK....this thread is purely ******ed. Angulo is a GREAT fighter. Canelo is a GREAT fighter. Both of them are bordering on elite. Canelo is younger, faster, and probably stronger, but Angulo is grittier, a better body puncher, more aggressive, and has a better chin. So whatever f/n weight they fight, it's a great fight. Yeah, Canelo could be making bigger fights, but who f/n cares......he's coming off a one sided defeat. He needs a more level fight that he'll more likely win. As for your post.....it's just as ******ed. First....question???? Did Derrick Chisora go up or down in the rankings and opinion polls after his "defeat" to Robbe Helenius??? He went up, NOT down. So why should PAC dropped after his defeat to Bradley? Essentially, Pac should be 2-1-1 over his last four with a draw and a loss to Marquez.:bart
First off, the Chisora/Helenius mention is just plain ridiculous and stupid on your part if you are trying to make a valid point. This content is protected 2-2:deal Only two legit wins (one over Rios who has no where near the PFP rankings) in over 2 years. And you think that's good enough to have Pac back on top of the PFP rankings
I call BS.... I dont follow your posting habits, but either your'e a hater or YDKSAB. Whichever it is, I see no need to further discuss it with you, b/c I think you may likely be both. :think
