Seems like a shot Cotto really gifted 154 with a huge perception boost :lol:

While I think Lara is probably the real deal, Canelo and Trout are vastly overhyped. Deep division my left arsecheek :rofl

Without FMJ I would actually say the divisions are about equal, but though he fights at 154 sometimes I really consider FMJ more of a 147. I do think 140/147 is considerably better than 154 / 160

If '60 were so good then why has a '54lb'er ruled it for several years?

'60 is a **** division and everyone except for the Golovtards knows it...

Just proving my point that if the 54s were the real deal they would be pulling a Martinez. Like Cotto trying to do, because he has some gonads.

Why is 154 ruled by an ex SFW?

Most of the people who get in these threads and talk **** don't really follow boxing above the 152lb division.

Oh dear, look at the poll. Apparently Golovkin isn't being overated after all.

very true, but especially in this sport people need to be sceptical
golovkin being with HBO means he does want the big fights, if he didn't he'd be hiding in Germany with felix sturm

that's a positive but he has to be overrated in my book because he hasn't fought anyone yet. just like wilder and kovalev, people like to hype a puncher, and punchers always look a million dollars against b-grade opposition

but its coming for him. GGG will get his fights, even though there is very little at MW and SMW to be honest

Wilder, Kovalev and Golovkin being grouped together as punchers. This guy really knows his s#it.

    care to debate it?
i'm lumping them together as 'punchers' because without a KO reel they wouldn't be getting over-hyped when none of them have fought anybody

so tell me what you disagree with

like I said, i'm lumping them together because punchers always get hyped and collectively, none of these have faced anybody

154 is about as deep as 160, both decent division. 168 is the talentless division.

Besides I don't even consider 154 a real weight class

    "light middle"
    "junior middle"

so stupid. You'r either a middle weight or go back down to midget 147
