I guess we will find out fairly soon. Pascal's chin is not very good, his stamina is even worse, Pascal punches in spurts. Bute will be a better fighter in his fight with Pascal, but Pascal is the bigger fighter...............

 

So were do you put your money?

 

I root for Bute but let's be honest, Pascal has never been down in his entire career. If Pascal has a bad chin, almost any fighter has.

So no need for chin checkers since everyone has a bad chin.

In response to the thread topic, I would say Pascal clearly has the better chin. He took punches from the likes of Hopkins x2, Froch, Dawson and others yet kept going strong. Bute's biggest fights were against Miranda, Johnson, Brinkley, Andrade(was almost stopped in the first fight) and Froch(knocked out in round 5).

Bute's chin is made out of weak and ultra cheap, polish glass. It will shatter again in a couple weeks.

 

Everybody who thinks Pascal's got a fragile chin should watch the Froch fight and Dawson fight. The man just doesn't go down, period.

Pascal has a solid beard imo.
Bute was beaten senseless by Froch, and he ate some very heavy shots when pinned against the ropes, but he stayed upright, albeit with a bit of help from the ropes.
Bute may prove to be more energenic and more durable now he's at the higher weight.
