Fury fighting at copperbox

Johann Duhaupas on the 15th if the rumours of him being the opponent are true.

 

Looking forward to seeing Fury vs Duhaupas, actually quite a tough fight and even a possibility of a upset.

 

How many days/weeks ago did that picture of Tyson, Hughie, Peter etc come out? The one where Tyson looked huge and had certainly enjoyed himself over xmas?

Depending on how recent that was, it's just over 4 weeks till the copperbox show... not exactly long.

 

I think that pic was probably a bit misleading.

I'm sure Tyson is in decent shape at moment and he's been training two back to back training camps for Haye fight too so he could probably do 12 rounds tomorrow if he had to.

Tyson has put timber on you can see it in his face, but his gut had some sort of monitor round it you can see that in the picture... Will add Peter Fury did tweet that as well.. HA HA did look like a weeble....

It's enough to make you turn to MMA...not that that lacks its fair share of numskulls.

Have just seen them! - not sure if he really is 26 stone but we know he is definately the type to pile the weight on if not active. Also he is not blessed with natural athetisism, reflexes, speed, footwork.

All he's blessed with is that he's big! - Training video's he looked aweful! (I know it's only first week) but how can he improve if the 12 week camp is mainly about getting the weight off rather that improve his skills!?

Doesnt live the life or make the sacrifices - if he wins a world title it will only be because the division is so bad.

 

Pros:
He's big.
Has some decent skills.
Likes to fight. It's in his blood.
Doesn't lack heart. Gets up off the floor and wins.
Confident. Isn't intimidated by anyone.
Can be entertaining when motivated.

Cons:
Doesn't live the life (that's putting it mildly!)
Immature (gets despondent when he doesn't get what he wants).
Not genuinely world class, although given the state of the heavies at the moment...

I like Tyson Fury, and I love watching his fights. But he should man up, stay away from Twitter and Youtube, and start acting, training, and living like the professional athlete he's supposed to be.

Won't happen imo. He'll carry on with the clowning, make as much money as he can as fast as he can (can't blame him for that), then be humbled on the world stage by the first true pro he fights.

He wont be fighting a half arsed chisora this time though.
