The WBC, an organization that does not rate Wladimir Klitschko at all in its rankings, is trying to bully Tyson Fury for saying what every boxing fan believes: they have lost credibility. All sanctioning bodies are ridiculous with their so-called "rankings".

Let's start by proving how laughable the WBC is in the eyes of the fans. The rankings are supposed to be a list of the best fighters in that division, right? That's just common sense. So, if the WBC rates a bunch of fighters in its top ten, and Wladimir Klitschko is nowhere on that list, then we can assume that the organization is LYING THROUGH ITS TEETH. They can make up all the official mumbo-jumbo they want, but once the rankings are laughable, then the orgainzation itself becomes laughable.

The WBC has Dereck Chisora, a man who has no significant wins and that Fury beat, ranked higher than Fury. This after Fury beat Steve Cunningham and Kevin Johnson.

When Tyson Fury says that "money must be changing hands", he is not only saying what every boxing fan thinks, but he is making a statement of fact. Money in fact changes hands everywhere and all the time. Just now I went to the shop and bought a bag of apples in exchange for money.

Now, if the WBC heard Tyson Fury talk about money changing hands and they thought it was a defamatory statement, then THEY are the ones who think bribes are being handed out, because Fury's words did not mention any wrongdoing by the WBC. Any thoughts about bribery are entirely the WBC's train of thought, not Fury's.

I hope this shameless multinational corporation stops bullying a fighter who is going to become heavyweight champion one day whether they "rate" him or not. I hope Fury doesn't give in to their attempt at muzzling him.

I honestly believe there is a conspiracy to keep Tyson Fury out of the title picture

Fury needs to spend less time talking and fight more. I am tired of his big mouth.

The WBC had arguably always been the most corrupt of the alphabet boys, and that's saying something.

Anyone who has followed boxing for the last 20 years will know that Sulaiman and Don King were the best of bedfellows, and that writers like Bert Sugar were always calling Sulaiman Don King's pet on a leash.

I would not be at all surprised if Don King gets back into the heavyweight picture thanks to the WBC. That King-Sulaiman alliance goes back decades and despite King's considerably diminished influence, he still has enough influence to make Sulaiman sit up and beg.

That's possibly the dumbest **** I have heard anyone say here. You don't have to directly spell something out, you know. It's quite obvious that Fury wasn't talking about the WBC 'buying apples' or some other nonsense.

You are a complete idiot with no IQ whatsoever.

The WBC has decided to take the LEGAL route against Tyson Fury (they threaten to take money from him), so I pointed out that Fury has done nothing LEGALLY wrong. He carefully chose his words.

Of course he wasn't talking about buying apples (your beer-drinker's IQ at least got you that far), but I had to point out that Tyson Fury said something that is not punishable. If they do try to fine him, he will be able to win in a court of law.

I will no longer respond to idiots in this thread. Intelligent posts are welcome, but I have no further time for idiots who can't get through basic logic.

Again, you don't have to directly say something for it to be defamation. It's obvious to any idiot what he was saying.

And by the way, some of the smartest people around drink beer. Just so you know.

None of the organizations rank champions from other orgs. that's why Wlad isn't in The WBC's top ten.

Stopped reading right there. No organization will rank a belt holder of a competing sanctioning body. Wlad disappeared from the WBC rankings when he won the IBF belt around 2006.

You stopped reading because you're a fool who thinks what the sanctioning bodies want you to think.

I know that no sanctioning body will rank the champion of another body. That's why the sanctioning bodies are all irrelevant. The point of the thread is that the fighters and the fans should count more than the sanctioning bodies, which all have nonsensical rankings that only serve their money-making purposes.

They never rate the champion of another belt. This is nothing new.
