Broner was trying to show his defense when he should've took it to Maidana from round 1 on.

He got busted up when he tried bringing it to Maidana just as bad as when he laid back.

He didn't bring it from round 1 though. By the time he tried, he was hurt and trying to recover.

He had mild succes in the mid rounds actually but yeah, he's not beating Maidana. He just looked so outmuscled. Broner's recovery ability was remarkable however.

I don't know, man. Chino has that dog in him, that MAB & Morales response. Hurt him at your own peril. Had Ortiz not dropped him he might've gone on to a UD and taken a very different career path.

Maybe that would have worked, but with a guy like Maidana that's a sketchy gambit. Broner does have ten career first-round blitzes, and he can finish alright, but if you drop or stun Maidana and don't get rid of him you've basically kicked a beehive.

That's what I mean. Everything has to have bad intention from start to finish against a guy like Maidana. You can't wait one second. Duran did it with Sugar, Ali to Wiliams, Floyd to Chico, Maidana to Broner. Maidana had the crowd and Broner walked into a hornets nest and got stung multiple times.

Broner has to flip that this time. Either he gets caught early trying or he can start an "start to finish" onslaught.

Floyd Mayweather is the best today at letting his opponent know that you won't do what you do from round 1 to 12. GG also has that look like imma eff you up from round 1 to whenever.

Not entirely true. Broner, when he let his hands go, had some success. I think Maidana's aggression early stunned him and he adjusted poorly.

Chino punches harder than Broner. That doesn't mean that Broner can't punch. Broner can punch, but he is not a trader. Chico will trade. Broner, he attacks and uses boxing skills. There are just some guys in boxing who don't follow the rules of engagement and Broner found that out harshly. He's been trying to imitate Floyd as a lot of you fans have said when he should've just been Broner.

If he focuses and get his **** together he can beat Maidana. He has the tools no doubt about that. Its all up to him when in training and in the ring.

Broner had Maidana hurt bad in round 11 I believe, but he was so effed up that he couldn't capitalize. Maidana knew that he was in a fight which is why he didn't bad mouth Broner after the fight like I ininitally thought he would.

Props to Maidana because a lot of people counted him out. That's why I love boxing. Totally unpredictable.

Maidana threw terrific body shots as well. Very good win for Maidana.

Guys, don't get it twisted. Chino is more than capable of getting Broner out of there in a rematch. I'm just riding with Broner lol...

Hey, props to Broner for wanting to take on the guy who just defeated him - he's pretty much gambling with his career at the top this time. If he wants to win, he's got to learn to move his feet a lot better - doubtful if that will happen in just a few, short months. I think Maidana will feel confident he can do the same thing again.

Broner can win the rematch, he was doing some things right against Maidana.
