and also for the shane fight. canelo didnt show up to fight:deal that canelo didnt even put up a fight. he didnt even try to pressure floyd. floyd cant knock out a fly. any moron with 2 hands know you got to put pressure on him to beat him a la castillo

 

People are overthinking this stuff. It's really simple...Canelo's team knew(as did everyone else) that one way to make Floyd uncomfortable is to pressure him for every second of every round. The problem is that Canelo's build prevents him from attaining the fitness level required to do do so without gassing by the 5th round.
As a result, they crafted a gameplan focused on round management. Did this strategy give him the best chance to actually win a fight against someone like Floyd? Hell no, but I don't think they ever thought he could realistically win. Canelo just isn't on Floyd's level as a boxer and he'll never be in good enough shape to apply enough pressure to make up for his technical flaws... at least not against someone like Floyd.
I think he did the best he could and that's that.

Bradley and Mosley had plenty of success controlling Pacquiao with their jabs. The intention wouldn't even be to the land the jab, but to use it to keep distance and make Pacquiao react the way you want him.

Then whenever Pacquiao tries to lunge forward and come across no man's land, he'll get tagged with a straight right like Ortiz did time and time again or like this

There's a good chance Pacquiao and Mayweather and some other top boxers (JMM, Ward, Wlad, Haye) have done PED's but this interview doesn't mean much. No failed tests = no proof and Ariza might refuse to say what's in the shakes because you don't just give away your knowledge and secrets. If he gives away his methods then they don't need Ariza anymore. Roach and Ariza don't get along so that's another reason for Freddie to say he's shady. But yeah there's a good chance Pac and others have done PED's.

 

Watched it MVC, yeah that's suspicious. Although I can't help but wonder what it could be because as far as I know steroids are very rarely ingested as its far more dangerous. But i am confused as to why:

1. If it was a normal protein shake (or something similar) why didnt ariza tell roach what was in it.
2. If roach is telling the truth and he genuinely didnt know what was in it, why was ariza not put on the spot and told he'd be fired if he didnt show the team what was in it.

All very weird.
