Bob Arum is running out of time.... All the signs are there if you pay close attention. Rumors have been going on for a while about Manny's lackluster ppv sales and this would support that.

    - We haven't see TB, JMM or Pac fight announced yet. Nobody wants to see Pac vs TB or JMM vs TB again. Pac vs Ruslan is tough due to the trainer situation

    - We never heard real ppv #s for Pac vs Rios

    - Arum doesn't have any floyd mayweather boogie men left so there can't be any hypothetical "this is the guy that would beat floyd, watch pacquiao beat him up"

Arums only good option is stealing a GBP fighter that floyd fought and hopefully pac can beat him better than floyd. This guy is running out of moves and will be exposed of all the bull**** he put pac & floyd fans through over these years.

Arum is a scumbag of the highest order but don't put all the blame for this fight not taking place on him. This fight could have happened a while back if both Pac and Floyd really wanted it.

Only good thing about this fight (if it happens, still highly doubtful) is maybe the TR - GB feud could ease. Maybe they could get some tr vs gb for the undercard.

Pac Ghost fight though is ****.

I just love the exposure this topic is getting as of late. P@ct@rds slowly opening their eyes with stuff that some of us already figured out in 2010

I just think it is hilarious that people think Arum, who has developed more top tier fighters and put on more big fights over the last 20 years than any other promoter, is somehow standing in the way of good business. Blame the fighters, their managers, and their armies of hanger ons. Blame the arrogance of GBP, the mismanagement of HBO under its previous leadership. The last person I would blame is Arum.

As for fights for Pac and Floyd, don't care. There really aren't enough compelling matchups, and their PPV's aren't worth it. I'm all set for the next generation of stars, this particular one can go.

hilarious is the fact that this shhitt is so simple to figure out and yet, most are still debating 5 years later

Bob was floyds promoter, also was oscars promoter. Both left him for better things. Floyds departure from top rank was a bitter one to say the least. Oscar became his main rival and floyd became the rival of the face of his company

Pacquiao looks great when his opponents go to him and think just because theyre bigger, they can overpower pac. From david diaz, oscar, hatton, cotto, margarito tried to over power and payed the price. basically pacquaio has been matched mostly with come foward bigger fighters so people would say, ohh he beats bigger men but in reality that was the plan all along . Shane boxed a little, bradley boxed and did better and marquez sealed it

So . . . You think arum putting the face of his company against floyd who he can't stand and is a very bad style matchup is good bussines?

simplified. Arum hates oscar, arum hates floyd, floyd was working with oscar

you put your star boxer and lose, more power to oscar.
Why do that when you can make 10 in house fights with carefully matched opposition and make millions?

I get a kick out people who do not understand this. Anyone who has been around the sport for a while and has half a brain can see Arum never wanted this fight. It's easy to blame Floyd because he is almost over exposed and PAC always comes up. However, to see who really is to blame you have to follow the money. The one person who gained the most from this who thing was bob.

As for the thread topic! PAC needs to get away from TR to get a chance to fight more marketable fighters. The ghost has a larger following than Timbo and Ruslan combined, if he can get out from under golden boy I expect to see that fight.

    Truth@ walk with me

    Real truth

Their position right know is indefensible.
Roach on record for - funky special shakes; and cherry picking the ghost.
Arum on record for- building arenas and cuts that can heal to face Floyd but healed enough to face Marquez

Look guys it's very simple. As of right now, Pac is desperate and so is he his team. Things aren't looking good for him and I say this sincerely. Do I think Pac is a good fighter, yes against the competition he has faced and how he faced them yes I do. Were some of his wins suspect due to him being able to knock guys down or out and now he can't hurt a fly, I think so but the point here is Mayweather being the Man of the sport because he beat the man in Oscar first can dictate terms. Pac, even though hyped up as the man but really never was because he didn't fight and beat Mayweather who did beat Oscar.

Pac had his chance, and for some reason that none of us will never know, Pac turned down 40million dollars. I mean, that's a lot of money to turn down so when people are blaming Floyd, it's mind boggling. Mayweather don't like Bob Arum and he has that right. Mayweather continues to make money without Bob Arum so why use him now. Roach, and the rest of the team were certain that they didn't need Mayweather and that they were bigger so then continue on with your fights and leave Mayweather alone. If you feel that he ducked, or is afraid of Pac then you guys already won. Mayweather is the champ whether you like it or hate it, and if he does not want to do business with Arum, that's his choice. Pac trying to fight Guerrero is kind of smart for the comparison reasons, but it still doesn't matter. Pac turned down 40 million, doesn't look good! And we all knew what Ariza gave him, Roach is trying to distance himself. Some **** will be hitting the news in a few days.

*****s are only good for ppv talk, when it comes to boxing they run like a bithc.

they will never run out of time. they are jsut going to move the dates.

floyd on the other hand has exclusive contract that calls for 6 fights in 30 moonths iirc, with a minimum wage (read ppv buys) to meet.

*****s dont want to see what pac does to a berto level.

then you start to wonder, why the dela hoya pacquiao got made no problem?

maybe it is just floyd trying to avoid the fight and you are trying to lump up dela hoya in the convo.

dela hoya fought all comers. he fought hopkins ffs.

pac also fought other gbp fighters.

you are trying to paint it as promoters hating each other., when it is floyd not wanting the fight because he cant beat pac.:good

    it was always about boxing.
