That isn't as stupid as it seems. If they can't come to an agreement it will go to pursebids, wich means he either gets 20% or 25% depending on where the fight is held.
That means that any pursebid equal or north of $5M will earn him at least a million and maybe even home advantage.
The pursebid would probably end up much higher with that new Russian promoter showing interest again.

Yeap pretty much what you said.

Fres has been Ko'ed twice in his career. It shouldn't surprise anyone if Deontay Wilder were to win via Ko vs Fres. Also at 40 with two Ko losses and 5 decision losses there's the argument that Fres is just simply way beyond credibility.

Despite Fres having that age and all those losses he would still be Deontay's best opponent to date. I guess people are simply expecting more from Deontay.

That might just be a ruse though. One thing is for sure though, no way can Leapia's team put up a purse bid of $4m to get a $1m salary. Dangerous game they're playing.

    What an utter joke...

They're desperate to hand Windmiller a belt because they know all the butthurt black power ***gots would support him.

Another pitiful step in the decline of boxing.

How are they ignoring higher ranked contenders? This is a joke.
