The heavyweight division is in a poor state, when this is all that we have to look forward to.

Wlad is only fulfiling his own wishes and nobody elses. And your maths may be wrong. What if Wlad retires before Tiger does :think? ... And there he is a top contender again.

Solis hasn't fought a southpaw in a while and I think that may make the fight look more competitive than it should. Solis should win easily, but something tells me that he'll do just enough to win.

average ESB poster thinks every current match up is the guy they remember in his prime.
news flash, Tony Thompson is 42 years old not 32.
thompson is so over rated its not funny. his best wins are vs Lujan Kraniqi, 15-0 david price, and maurice harris who he gave loss #15 too

So a 20-1 04' Thompson whom to that date best win was Zuri Lawrence is a better fighter than today just because he's over 40?

If you actually understood something instead of just glancing at his record and age you would know that the much imprioved 06-08 Thompson was considerably more experienced and would school the younger version of himself... So would the one of today.

Watch his early fights ffs, he was just a crude Foreman like slugger, he would be walking in to counters all night, the Thompson of today is a cagey, awkward vet, who will have alot of tricks through ring exp.

I think the fact that Solis is motivated again and is easily capable of beating your hero has you shook up a little.

    :hat

Better this than Tyson Fury, his latest videos make Solis look fit as hell, plus Solis is far better boxer of the two.

Solis should win, just a better talent, but his low punch output should give The Tiger a fair chance.

I guess the winner of this will be matched up against Glazkov to determine a new mandatory, right? No word on the press so far but unless the promoters screw it, everything points in that direction.

You should probably underline that so people realize it's a link and not just you making a weird statement (and vague promise? ...or request?) full of capitalized words. :yep

Solis isn't much better he has a Glass Jaw and his best win is either Ray Austin or Monte Barrett. The one time he stepped up he got his Glass Jaw shattered in one round.

Solis managed to stay on his feet when he faced the monsterous puncher and Norse God, Leif Larsen. Anyone who is able to trade blows with this Behemoth of a man and live to tell the tale, certainly has no glass chin.

All you do on this forum, is judge the sturdiness of chins, and you can't even get that right. Quite sad really :-(
