well nothing is set in stone yet but reports coming in that Murray V Sturm has been agreed. Macklin was waiting to land that fight and if not than he said Lee was next in line. So most likely Lee V Macklin but its only speculation. And Lencoreastside, - yes that's what I suspect either HBO or SKY Sports. If its HBO logic points to MSG. If its Sky Sports logic points to Dublin.
That is right. He did. But did you see the fight? Fletcher was probably very unlucky. Apart from the one clean left hand that got him going, (and the follow-up clash of heads which cant have helped, in fairness) pretty much everything BJS was throwing missed. Also BJS is feather fisted - fast yes but not powerful. Dont be so quick to buy into the Murray hype Dan - plenty of guys no better than Fletcher HAVE tested the vastly overrated Murray eg. his last opponent.........:thumbsup
For those not on the tweet machine or facebook, Hyde's announced a couple more fights for his bill today. Paddy Gallagher v Karl Brabazon and Brendan Fitzpatrick v Paul Moffett. Waiting to hear word on Luke Keeler v Joe Hillerby as well. If that's announced, along with Darren Cruise v Robbie Long, there'll be four derbies on the bill. Won't hold my breath too long though, those oul injuries have a nasty habit of cropping up ahead of fights like these...
Got a top 10 Irish pound for pound list? Putting together a list for the end of 2013. Here's previous efforts from 2011 and 2012. Criteria: Has (or has in the past) represented Ireland in the ring. Which allows Tyson Fury, Macklin, etc. Not getting bogged down in bloodlines and who is, or isn't, Irish. Cheers 2011 Ranking: Macklin, McCloskey, Lee, Magee, Fury, Frampton, Lindsay, Hyland, Casey, Murray 2012: Macklin, Magee, Frampton, Lee, Fury, McCloskey, Hyland, Lindsay, Casey, O'Sullivan Bad year for a lot of the 2012-ers. Magee & Hyland are inactive since December 2012 so will slip out. Defeats in 2013 for Macklin, McCloskey, Lindsay, Casey and O'Sullivan. A case for new blood?
Ah I wouldn't be too negative I doubt very much any phantom injuries will pop up :bbb Im sure all fighters myself included need these kind of fights more than anything 👍 and Tims vs Moses is a derby of sorts
Also: Kevin Byrne ‏@KevooByrne David Oliver Joyce (@davey_joyce) scored a second-round knockout in the @WSB_Boxing for Germany v Arg's Nunez tonight Anyone actually paid top access the WSB content this season? I've enjoyed it on the free Youtube channel for the last few years but reckon they've lost their entire audience now. Shame.
This is true. Hope not anyway. Have a suspicion one or two won't come off but any two Keeler v Hillerby, Gallagher v Brabazon and Fitz v Moffett would make it a cracking bill.
