GTFOH with that "did Maidana a favor" BS. It was a calculated risk that came back to bite him in the ass!:bart

again....broner was NOT obligated to fight maidana. calculated risk or not...fail or succeed...it was a favor to maidana.

u may not understand that as a fan. the fighters understand that. their teams understand that. it's why they thank each other for taking the fights. broner was the A side in this promotion...regardless of the outcome. in the rematch the tables will probably be turned some.

take cotto and martinez as another example. cotto is the draw....martinez is the champion. who do u think holds more weight at the negotiating table in that scenario?

Giving him gauze to blow his nose? Yeah, that was WAY out of line.

I thought Maidana was a mandatory, as in broner had to fight him, i know Maidana won a few title eliminators.

Anyway, i'm fine with a rematch, it will be fun to see Maidana put a severe beating on AB again.

As far as i'm aware no, it is only the A side that gets a rematch clause usually

He was champ....he lost. Of course he deserves a rematch. Regardless of the ass he was or has been. I think if Adrien gets on his bike more and boxes from the outside more like Floyd....he could out point Miadana. It's not really his style but he's not bigger or more powerful than a lot of guys a 147 so if he's smart he'll adjust his strategy in the rematch.

I called Miadana beating Broner but in a rematch it might turn out differently if Broner realizes what changes he needs to make.

Props to Marcos and Broner for doing it again. It was a great first fight!

hell yeah he does, he called out maidana and gave him a shot. not only that there was a rematch clause in the contract. everyone was glad to see broner get his ass kicked, you guys should be glad to see it again. thats in case deep down you dont see that happening and you dont want broner to redeem himself. but i know that at the case right ? you cant be that much of a HATER !!
