I just read that there is no rematch clause. I think Maidana should get one fight before rematching Broner the idiot..............

Now see... a smart boxing fan can see it for what it really was. Agree totally. This matchup has Al Haymon written all over it.

The fact that the fight was in Texas was supposed to guarantee Broner would win. No one expected Maidana to thoroughly dominate him so bad they couldn't even rob Maidana.

I hate Broner but a rematch is in order. Let's be honest, Maidana was dead tired in the 12th. Broner makes some adjustments and he should win the rematch handily.

RICHARD SCHAEFER: ‘THERE IS NO REMATCH CLAUSE’
Although there was no rematch clause in the event that Broner lost, Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer sees that as being among one of the options for the 24-year-old.

He deserves a rematch about as much as Seth Mitchell deserved a rematch with Banks....which means he doesn't deserve a rematch at all.
Maidana is a proud man and a national hero now, so GBP had better sweeten the deal for him to take this fight. I wouldn't be shocked at all if he didn't sign the contract even if they did...

How is he bullied?, he's going to get another generous payday and get a chance to fight someone he already destroyed recently.

Only haters or people with absolutely no idea how to score a fight think Malignaggi won that. And I don't like Broner, was rooting for Paulie

Broner-Maidana was a lot closer than people like to think, Broner won 4 rounds clearly and was winning the 9th big before the KD. Was a great fight, no idea why people wouldn't wanna see a rematch.

If that is the case then yeah sure honour the contract you signed like many fighters have had to in the past. Rahman didn't want no part of Lewis after he got his KO5 win...but Lewis took him to court and won because he gave Rahman a shot when he didn't deserve one and so just because he got lucky can't go running off with the title. Honour your legal obligations first. Then after than yeah go run off n fight someone else.

If no rematch clause then Maidana should laugh in his face and say cya sucker! He did get owned after all.
