Yeah, and I am sure if Ali-Frazier I was today you'd be telling Muhammad Ali to hide his face in shame.

I'm not saying Broner is Ali, he's not even close, but Broner is a 3 weight world champion at his age, it's impressive whether or not you want to acknowledge it.

Malinaggi was an easy fight and most people saw it as a cherry pick for a belt at 147. Also he got a lot of criticism (rightly so imo) for skipping 140 when the likes of Khan, Garcia, Matthysse, Peterson were there and looking good. The thing is too, he didn't think Maidana was a challenge as he thought he was God's gift, he thought Maidana would just lie down and that he would walk through him.

If he beats Maidana fairly he will have some more of my respect but his showboating, cash-flushing, prostitute-licking, hair-brushing, dry-humping, cringe-inducing diving around the ring self will have to earn it

He's not comparing Broner to them...he's just adding historical context.

    Try to focus.

A young fighter getting his as.s whipped by a veteran puncher is old as boxing itself.

A young Joe Louis and many others are in the same position Broner is in now.
Joe partied his way right into an as.s-whipping by Max Schmelling.

Broner feels he is great and is willing to prove it.

You guys would be calling him a coward if he were fighting somebody else:lol:

    Fair enough.

I don't condone his out of the ring habits.
The simple fact that he wants this rematch speaks of his personality, he's not a pushover.

A lot of his in-the-ring habits don't endere him to me either. But at least you have the sense to see my point and not reply with some stupid fan-boy stuff, so thanks for that.

:deal He beat up fighters smaller than him now is a time to fight guys his own size...he just isnt some great fighter and never will be, already to many holes in his game, and all that shown by Maidana who with all respect isnt nothing more than b level fighter. Just think about shots Broner got hit with, and myth was that Broner is defensive wizard :patsch but he got hit with widest possible shots.
B level fighter showed how limited he is, bad news for Broner nowhere to go at 140 Lucas and Garcia destroy him, and i think Provodnikov would stop him, at 147 Floyd, Bradley, Pac all beat him really easy and there is a lot of fighters that i would not be surprised to beat him, at 154 he would be absolutely nothing, so with 135 out of the window Broner is in trouble.
