Vargas would beat Cotto probably a lot worse than Antonio Margarito did. He's faster, throws straight punches, better footwork, and his chin (pre-Cheato Trinidad) was as solid as they come.

I see Vargas stopping Cotto in about 5 rounds, I don't think Cotto would be around long enough the receive the same beating he did against Margo and Pacquiao.

cotto is an overrated fighter by his fans, i believe he's elite level of this era, but i think he does **** H2H against fighter's in previous eras who aren't exactly in his natural weight class. Vargas was a way more powerful version of margerito with better skills he gave a prime tito a tough fight before going out on his shield and he beat fighters like quartey and winky, imagine what such a fighter would do to cotto a guy who was decimated by smaller fighters like pac and mayweather.
