Opinions will differ, but I think he turned a lot of people off by winning fights, in part, with his skull. That, and he has no KO power and doesn't have a flashy personality.

What is it with you foreigners? Most of the time you're whining like little girls that we grossly hype fighters based solely on their nationality, and now you want us to bump one of our own?

And if we did, we'd have to listen to knobs like you telling us that the kid has no power and no personality and is only being rated because he IS an American.

I ask a simple question, and get this?

    You're a disgrace - not only as a poster - but as a U.S. American

Now go suckle up on a komodo dragon ya stinkin poof

I get behind him. I think he's upped his knuckle game to elite status within the last 3 years. He's morphed into something of a slick speedster. He has the tools to upset any welterweight that takes him lightly and even the ones that don't.

Good points, i'd forgotten about the Tim of old (chrome dome Tim)

But hasnt he done enough to put that behind him?

His last 3 fights were huge, monster fights with Juan, Manny and Ruslan

He ducks NO one, and even though he could have schooled Ruslan, chose instead to give us a hellacious FOTY candidate

On top of that he's a down to earth, humble, real decent guy

There should be way more love for Tim

I didn't mean to say that I wasn't a fan. I am. Ever since he dismantled Jr. Witter. I was just trying to explain what I think is the reason he isn't a star.

It is the right question to be asking. Why isn't HE the logical choice for Floyd? Yes he is with Arum, but so is Pac, so was Margarito and that didn't stop the conversations.

A better question is whay aren't BOXING FANS backing the fighters who should be given props? Why can't everyone see who the real competitive fighters are? Bradley, Lara, Rigondeaux, Thurman, Etc. I'm NOT calling any of them elite...but they deserve to have more respect than they get.

Instead we get hyped fighters like Lucas, Canelo, GGG and Broner who get way overhyped before they've actually done anything. They should get SOME props but not as much as labelling them boogeymen and future HOF'ers.

I wonder IF Timmy would be huge had there been no Mayweather or Packy around??
