if you think canelo throwing 400 punches against kirkland, lara or andrade is going to cut it you are very wrong.

alvarez has four more fights at 154 before hes a gatekeeper/contender

there is little room in the crowded 154 division for a 5'7" jmw withuot one punch power, plodding footwork who is only capable of throwing 450 punches in a fight

are you implying thats its better to throw less punches than more punches?

because generally the guy that throws the most punches and connects the most punches is typically the guy that wins a fight

 

yeah lara was hurt twice, and it was competitive, but lara outboxed angulo for long stretches as well, its just that nobody beats lara easily at 154, he has the least "flaws" in the division.

lara was eating left hooks all night with no defense for that, he surely pissed blood that night, that fight was close and lara was already fading in the last rounds... what it was supposed to be an easy fight for lara turned out into a nightmare ...
