thats pretty much the way i thought it all went down.

tyson getting beat up in prison, raping other men...only on the esb forums.

they really need a penalty box for some people here.

keep the nonsense out of the general population forum.

    Ya he did.

It's weird because every single thread, story, and reliable source on Rakim Oaks was deleted when a poster finally brought the truth to light.

But he 100% knocked Tyson out cold. For 4-5 minutes. Tyson did do well in the rematch, losing a wide 10-2 decision, and lost the third fight 8-4. I think if they fought 3-4 more times, Tyson would have won one.

So the uncle, of your uncles ex skin head ex con friend, told your uncles friend, that their prison had multiple savage underground fights involving Mike Tyson and the prisons toughest prisoners orchestrated by the guards with him being the only known person to have witnessed these legendary events of Tyson getting his ass beat in savage prison fights....
and.... youre 50/50 on the story? lol...

I dont know, to each their own I guess but this story isnt believable in the slightest.

As to how a prime Tyson could do against the Rakim Oaks that beat him in prison.

    Let's look at this

    Rakim Oaks was 6'5, 245+

My answer would be if Rakim fights the same type of fight as he did historically he wins, in possibly the same length of time as well. I appreciate that the 88 Tyson was faster than the prison version, better head movement, better combinations and an all-round more dangerous fighter but I don't think that would be enough to offset Rakim physical advantages. Here's why I think Rakim would beat any version of Tyson:

    1) Prime Tyson could be somewhat neutralized by a tall fighter with a good jab. I'm thinking Tony Tucker as the obvious example but there are others too. Rakims jab has been somewhat maligned and it's not quite of the Holmes quality. Nonetheless it is a good jab and he demonstrated in the Leeroy fight just how effective variable use of the jab can be in controlling a dangerous opponent.

    2) Tyson's style, be it prime or not, is perfectly suited for Rakim. If the Rakim jab keeps Tyson on the outside, great. if Tyson slips the jab, which he would do a lot in a prime to prime match-up, Rakim will not allow Tyson to either push him back or work on the inside too much.

    3) Prime Tyson beat most of his opponents before they had even entered the ring. Spinks, Bruno are the obvious examples. Although he was slightly faded, James Douglas demonstrated how a positive mental attitude would pay dividends and Rakim would not be intimidated by any version of Tyson. IMO this is a big factor.

    4) Rakim is one of the deadliest combination punchers in heavyweight history.

    5) The version of Tyson that Rakimactually fought was obviously a worse puncher than the prime version, but probably a harder single shot puncher. Rakim has already felt the weight of Tyson's hooks. In the first 2 rounds of their fight Rakim was hit with single shots that would have wobbled the likes of Bruno and floored some others. Before the RAKIM fight no-one was standing up to Tyson, the NC fights included.

I think Rakim s combination of size, power, confidence and athleticism would always be too much for any version of Tyson. A good big 'un beats a good little 'un, as they say.

People are nuts to think that Tyson went into prison a feared man. The guys in prison are for the most part lifers who have no remorse, and would love nothing more to hurt or kill a celebrity. Do some of you believe people are trying to box one on one in prison? These guys are cold blooded killers, and take every cheap shot in the book. Not to mention group lynchings. Tyson was scared to death being in prison.

Sylvia was the UFC champion and ranks higher in ranking as a MMA HW than Mercer does in boxing.

And I'm not going to share anything with you plebians
