can't be sure just how tough triple G is until he's really tested, though i do think curtis stevens will wind up being a formidable middleweight.

Yes! I heard Brad Pitt asked GGG tips for his role as Achilles.

GGG is making a sequel to 300. Its called 1

I watched the Martinez-Murray fight, and I think Golovkin would beat Martinez by early round KO. Martinez's hands down style would be suicide against a hard hitter like Golovkin.

    Curtis hits like a mule

He ended up being petrified and cowering on the ropes. But he landed a few hail marys

    GGG barely turned his head

That tells you all you need to know about the guys chin - and questions over his chin was the haters last line of defence

Curtis has a glass jaw man. Sure he hits hard but he has a severe lack of boxing ability and ability to take a good punch.

he got hit with one of Golovkin's power punches and he didn't throw anymore big ones.

GGG is not as tough as Yory Boy Campus was at Welterweight, he is a better technician though.

If he can move down to 154 more power to him, but this needed to be done 2 years ago already...disappointed with the talk and no action :-(

Kirkland & Mundine will be great fights to establish himself in 154 :thumbsup

GGG is a very good fighter, but is it too much to ask that he has some good competition before crowning him a God. For me, it wasn't hate, just wanted to see it before believing it.

i don't think stevens was so much petrified as being dazed or in pain and trying to survive.

matthysse has a lot of power but he isn't remotely as skilled as Triple G in setting up punches, among other things.

    I agree.

He is talked about as if he is a God when his best win is Macklin.

With all honesty...he could be that...or just a Hamsho/Mugabi type of tough contender that Hagler can break down...We don't know unifying the titles will help clear that up a bit :think

Sure illwill, its a fair question to ask

Only answer i can give you is he's had close to 400 amateur fights - and that's including - and beating - larger guys like Dirrell and Bute. The dude's insanely skilled and experienced

The only big Q remaining when he moved into the pro ranks was over his chin - would he be another Amir Khan??

The Stevens fight told you all you need to know about GGGs chin. It's feckin granite

If Floyd - one of the most naturally talented boxers of all time - wants to really put himself to the test - then that test is there
