Hope it's someone solid, but I doubt it will be.

He's hasnt had much luck drawing big names for such short dough, but hopefully he can get a high level journeyman out there, someone like Bahtov or Bydenko.

Or Fury... He's been bitching and moaning - may it's time he tries to actually fight...

Smart move by Pulev, he'd be keeping busy while waiting for his shot at Wlad

I wouldn't expect anyone special to be his opponent probably someone on par with his last opponent Abell-he's not going to risk his title shot.

With all due respect to Leapai, whom I like, someone needs to pull a Nancy Kerrigan on him with the quickness so Pulev can ditch on this date and just challenge Klitschko already. Enough waiting. :wall

Don't you worry your pretty, little head, mate. When Lightning Lexy Leaps gets the opportunity to defend his titles against Pulev, there will be no waiting. :deal

Pulev is the one who put off the title fight with Vlad, not Vlad. He said he wanted, at least, one more fight. I think Pulev should challenge Wilder, he will knock Wilder out.............

Good news, I hope this time it is not going to be a southpaw. Always huge problems in finding matchups for him. I don't believe whatever name they announce until the day of the fight. Other boxers are pulling out like crazy from his bouts.

That`s exactly right. I find the late withdrawal of Sherman Williams quite suspicious. I am not a conspiracy theory supporter but given all Pulev`s fights that have been pulled out I am starting to think that 2 particular persons might indeed manipulate the entire HW division!

Do you mean the K2? They surely have great connections and influence. Latest example being the WBC where Vitali has got some special treatment. I am happy that Pulev is part of Sauerland who are big enough to withstand pressure from other big promotions...

I think that the idea is to mentally break their opponents ... at least the ones worthy of doing so. And Sauerland can`t help in that. Before the Thompson fight it was 11 months of negotiating fights that never happened. And IBF did nothing but making it even harder for Pulev with not allowing him to defend the EBU title.

Why couldn't him and Fury be part of a 4 man eliminator, along with Stiverne and Arreola?Winner to fight the winner of the Leepai fight, who I expect will be Wlad? But for Gods sake let them get a move on.

Except whenever K2 has gone up against Sauerland regarding promotion of fights between them, K2 has come out on top quite easily. So, they really can't withstand pressure from K2, K2 will get their way if they want.

Pulev is already a mandatory for the IBF. Earned the hard way - in the ring, so he needs no tournament. I like the idea though - how about Fury, Chisor, Perez and Areola fight in a tournament with the winner getting a mandatory shot at one of the titles... That could be big fun a a proper way to earn a title shot.

Back on topic - it's really high time for Wlad's team to make a deal with Pulev and announce the fight!

They've already tried to make a deal, Pulev said not yet. Leapai is first in April, Wlad isn't making another deal before that fight is done.
