You are correct. When baited during his early career before the HBO exposure, he would rumble with all the lower-level journeymen he was feasting on and gladly throw his defensive skills out the window. Those are bad habits to develop, as while his chin seems quite good it was never tested above that level.

 

Looking forward to seeing what the odds are for this one because I think there might be good odds on Crawford.

 

Prescott him clean a few times and he didnt flinch

Dragging him into a brawl is easier said than done this is the fight of his life I think he sticks to his gameplan and stays composed

In his last fight he was abit too patient didnt risk anything so I dont expect him to in this one

 

Prescott has raw power but his punching technique (except for his jab, which by definition isn't a "power punch") is ****.

You have to have a real glass jaw to be one-punched by Prescott.

 

I.B That is the reason I lost cash on Prescott v him. I thought he would get into a brawl and coupled with the fact his team already turned down the fight and he only took it with the mega bung.

 

He has never been 12 rounds so his Chin , Stamina & Heart havent been tested in the championship rounds , Ricky has and he is going nowhere! Gonzales threw everything at him & Beltran broke his jaw but you will have to put Ricky to sleep 2 stop him , Ricky TKO Round 11 or 12 .

 

Disagree with this stategy, if Burns brawls with Crawford he'll get knocked out inside 4 rounds as Terrance has better power then Ricky, more accurate crisper punches and much faster hands.

The best gameplan for Ricky is to try and outhustle Crawford, aim to throw over 100 punches a round and be the busier fighter which will help him win the close rounds.

I expect this fight to be similar to Burns vs Gonzalez although Crawford is like a better version of Gonzalez.

 

I think the best way to beat him is with a back foot style like Vaquez, Crawford is a very talented fighter but he was devoid of ideas against Klimov who was spoiling but Crawford did nothing to him, Vasquez would beat Crawford, way too clever imo.

 

Make it ugly.

 

Make him work throw a lot of punches Crawford is skilful but he's never been forced to throw a lot of punches before so his stamina hasn't ever been tested.

 

Terence will be Too Black Too American Too Fast

Burns is a nice guy , but Terence will win every second of every round,.
Ive seen Terence 6 times, he is the real deal.
Would love to go to Glasgow to watch this but I've heard Glaswegians are very racist people and I'm a large guy, 19 stone so they would notice me. Despite being british, I always support the brother, you gotta support your own. I don't support any white fighters apart from Groves and Golovkin, if that makes me racist I don't care.
