Prime B-Hop vs Triple G at middleweight. Who wins and why?

Hopkins decision. He has a great defense and chin so GGG wouldn't be able to stop Hopkins imo. Hopkins is more crafty and is able to win more rounds.

Bernard by easy unanimous decision. We are talking about the Prime Early 30s to mid 30s Unidpusted Middleweight Champion of the world Executioner B-Hop when he still had that amazing footwork.

Does Golovkin qualify as a "legit" middleweight?

    Prime Hopkins was a beast.

    Hopkins KO6.

At least you're half right this time, but your GGG bias would have the casino keeping your money.

As much as I respect GGG's talent, Hopkins UD would be the most probable outcome.

    No bias here.

The fact of the matter is Hopkins while in his prime was laying regular beatdowns on Golovkin caliber fighters. This fight would be no different...

Yes, bias. I've seen many such posts. Any analyst would be a fool to bet on a KO against someone never down in 345 amatuer fights and 28 pro fights. Especially when Hopkins does not possess freakish power and this fight would be won on Hopkins craftiness, defense, and use of "veteran" tactics. It's a decision Hopkins.

Hopkins all the way. GGG has fought mostly blown-up JMW's. Anyone who comes out with power fans jump on the wagon. It was like that with Kirkland when he first came on the scene and then he loses to feather fisted Ishida who is actually moving up to HW I hear, lol. We will see if GGG gets stopped in the same fashion to see if 90% say I knew he was all hype. I believe Pavlick would have beaten him in his prime never mind Hopkins.

    It's obvious YDKSAB.

Hopkins remains the only man to hold a KO victory over Glen Johnson.

That speaks volumes about his ability to take guys out @ 160 - and Golovkin would be on that list if he were to face a prime Hopkins.
