And what is better statistically? A big KO, or not even being knocked down in 345 amateur and 28 pro fights, much less KO'd? I'd say in that equation, the outlier from the norm is the one KO. Smart money is decision, my friend.

Whatever Golovkin did or didn't do as an amateur means less than sh1t - and Golovkin's professional resume is made up of BUMs, STIFFs, TOMATO CANs, No Hopers and NEVER WEREs. The fact that the Walking Dead haven't managed to score a KD against Golovkin is MEANINGLESS. Golovkin has never seen anyone even remotely on Bernard's level.

    Hopkins KO6

Have to see Golovkin fight some good/great middleweights first.

Then you really DKSAB. People are KD and KO in the amateurs all the time. Avoiding that for 345 when people like you say his defense sucks, shows a ridiculous chin. So saying the amateurs means nothing in such a case, ends our conversation. You're an idiot who knows little and not worth my time. If you're analyzing a bet and trying to find the flaws in casino predictions, you always evaluate a fight's totality--including amateurs, and amateurs is a factor here. Hopkins UD, and it looks like the poll agrees with me. I guess they DKSAB either? LOL.

Golovkin has really done nothing to even be mentioned in the same breath as Hopkins. It's still way too early in his career to even judge how good he is, as he is yet to beat an elite fighter.

Hopkins UD is the most likely result, though if Hopkins is totally dominant a late stoppage is not out of the question.

I agree, resume-wise, they aren't in the same zip code, yet. Hopkins UD is the most likely outcome. I think a stoppage on either side cooould happen, but unlikely.

YDKSAB!!:-( Hopkins was damn nearly KO'ed by a journeyman. When has GGG ever been close to being hurt?

Hopkins might win a UD, but if anyone is getting KO'ed, it's Hopkins.

Hopkins by stoppage. Prime Hopkins would eat Golovkin. He had great defense, great chin, great timing and counter shots, could box, or maul. We already saw Golovkin seems out of his comfort zone if a guy gets in his chest. Hopkins would **** him on the inside. Hops would also counter Golovkins slow shots repeatedly. Golvokin also seems to have fragile skin. If Rosado, and other guys cut him up, Hopkins would likely stop him on cuts, mid to late rounds. GGG's facial skin doesn't seem very sturdy.

Golovkin hasn't beaten a guy yet, that would be ranked in the top ten at middleweight when Hopkins was in his prime.

Golovkin by knockout!!! Calzaghe easily outboxed Hopkins years ago. Roid easily outboxed Hopkins years ago, Hell, even Dawson beat Hopkins. Hopkins said he would never fight Kovalev or Stevenson and I believe him.

    This happened in his prime?

    I don't think so.

Like someone said earlier, Hopkins' resume sh1ts all over Golovkin's whole village.

You Golovtards really need to STOP...

The same Hopkins who had wars with guys like Segundo Merchado(sp), Antwon Echols. lost twice to Jermaine Taylor and basically quit the first time against Robert Allen and got tooled by an injured Roy jones.

Yeah what an untouchable monster that guy waa. LOL

In fairness to him, he did win a bunch of uglY decisions and KO a couple small welterweights along the way.

    Here we go again

The hype GGG gets on this place is ridiculous seeing as though he hasn't actually beaten anyone of notice yet
