No. If his legacy was tarnished he wouldn't get into the HOF and wouldn't be considered a great fighter. It will be a knock against him. Tarnished though is too harsh. I don't see that happening.

Wow, this is very revealing. Until Pac is proven guilty, he is innocent.

Isn't it funny how the first fight pac request drug testing for is when alex ariza is working the corner of brandon rios?????

    No one finds that strange?

gatti got into the HOF....Floyd is already there, so is pac

it won't hold as much water as it would have 4 years ago, but it will still be credible. but I hear what you're saying

I guess it depends how you define tarnished. To me, tarnished is the same as ruined. I'm not sure how his legacy will be ruined over 1 fight. That's like saying Buster Douglas should be a HOFer based on beating Mike Tyson. Mayweather has a good shot of winning FOY this year. So I don't see how his legacy will be tarnished. He's a first ballet HOFer, and will go down as one of the top 50 fighters or so of all time. If that's a tarnished legacy, then where would Mayweather be ranked had the fight with Pac happened?

    This.

Although, if the fight happens it suits Floyd more now than it would have before. Floyd may have pulled a master stroke by being so very very patient.
