You are blind by hate.. Chisora isn't in this thread. We're talking about a 60's heavyweight.. You Muppet.

some news for you son. they are the same person.

judging by joes record, when prime he might have called out disease ridden 50something and showboated and laughed at his shuffling senior opp.
    other than that, never

I love how people like you and Joceho, people who ignore all rational evidence, are the people who say the site is "losing credibility" or stupid etc. Seriously, there are reams of rational evidence that all modern athletes are performing at a much higher level than before, and no rational evidence as to the contrary. And yet, people like you who are apparently incapable of simple reason are claiming that people who recognize rationality are racist(btw modern black cruiser weight champs would beat early 60's era Clay as well) and stupid. Yeah, that makes sense.

Calzaghe was a good Super Middleweight. He's not a Heavyweight.

Joe would make it easier against a prime Rocky Marciano. I'm waiting for the poll.

I think there are 2 ways this fight could play out.

    1. Young Clay tries the rope-a-dope for the first time, Calzaghe unleashes a flurry of punches, British ref steps in and waves it of. Or on a more serious note...

    2. Clay comfortably wins it from the outside using his movement and range. Calzaghe has some success because of his speed and the fact that young Clay could get a little complacent but Joe does well if he makes it to the final bell. Joe wins 1 - 3 rounds. This isn't actually that stupid a proposition assuming were talking about a prime Calzaghe without too badly damaged hands and some time to prepare for the weight. Also considering Calzaghe's walking around weight was close to 200lb and Clay, like most fighters probably fought a few bums early in his career.

Uhm, wrong moron. All rational evidence is that boxers are performing better. All measurable sports are quantifiably better. Those sports have seen an increase in size of their athletes. HW Boxing, like other nonquantifiable sports, have seen the same increase. It is inconceivable that boxing is a special flower that is immune to the laws of progress, and that conclusion with that evidence is the perfect example of a rationally based decision. But I suppose we'll just have to suffer imbeciles like you who are immune to rationality.

you are the moron, trying to pretend that quantifiable results equate to skill level in boxing.

there is no evidence boxers box better period, don't lie and don't do it again.
