Was gonna do Tyson GGG, which in all likelihood would probably be closer, but how do you see this play out?

Outside of Pacweather, Calzaghe's easily been the most fiercely debated fighter here of the last 5 years

Calzaghe would probably edge GGG out on workrate, though getting dropped early a few times.

fair chance of GGG winning too but less likely until he wins against someone pretty good like joe has done with Kessler.

If Joe tried to comedown to a premier division he would get beat at 168 I give a slight edge to Joe. lol @ GOATS . . . good stuff . . . i keep coming to this sight for the laughs

Kessler (prime) was very good. GGG is probably a a level or two above him on most things, but the size difference matches it out well

Big difference i see is - though Kessler was big, strong, powerful, skilled, fast, strong chinned... he wasnt particulary versatile

Joe figured him out (like he did to every single guy he fought)

    Could Joe "figure out" GGG?

Someone with the experience and intelligence GGG has would make that extremely difficult - and if he did - pretty sure GGG could change his style

Now you add that versatility to maybe a couple of early KDs and Calzaghe's got it difficult

Hopkins was savy enough to keep Joe guessing for the first half of the fight. What eventually done him in was Joe's relentless pace. Hopkins was utterly (and literally} ****ed by the Championship rounds. From all accounts, GGGs stamina is top notch

    Great fight.

^ Nah. Bute showed way too many flaws prior to his KO loss to Froch. A lot of people saw that.

GGG is great......but not that great. Calzaghe wins a hard fought UD.

GGG would have a better chance against Hopkins.
