From a casual, mainstream perspective, he will be forever tied to Pacquiao and the fight that never happened. PERIOD. That is the first thing people will think of when they remember Floyd.

He will go down as one of the best fighters to have laced them up especially if he is 49-0. The thing is most people on this forum don't know just how good the likes of Hernandez,Castillio, Coralles were. Yes Oscar was not prime but neither was Floyd. It seems Floyd is the only fighter in the history of the sport to ever duck opponents, it's never any other fighter, promoter or broadcaster!!!

He has an excellent record, shame he is so much better than everyone else that we don't really see him get tested. To think Floyd is a bum or a coward just shows the disregard you have for this sport.

Some idiots think Manny will be remembered for his loss by KO to JMM. For me I will remember him for his excellent performance against Cotto. Another fighter I rate very highly.

Don't let hate or jealousy blind your logic. Floyd and Manny are ATG fighters and will be remembered for many years to come.the end.

Contrary to this post, the true fans know his lack of legacy, the casuals are the ones buying his crappy PPVs.

Why is it all on PBF to get this fight made? Why don't people put pressure on Pac to fight PBF instead of PBF to fight Pac? It's really ridiculous. PBF is the champ and on top he doesn't issue challenges and doesn't need Pac. Pac is the challenger, it's his job to issue challenges. He wants to be where PBF is not the other way around, that's the way it works. His legacy will look worse because he never stepped up to the plate and turned down a fight due to testing.

pac refusing to test and being outted by his own trainer on special shakes has no bearing on floyds career.

Not to mention Pac's own trainer throwing him under the bus about the shakes Ariza was giving him and his refusal to test it's a no-brainer . Pac was indeed on something and his legacy will be tarnished. Roach is trying to get out in front of it early to distance himself from it but people continue to ignore this damning evidence.

i never wanted to believe pac was using ped's. i thought his success at 140 and above was carefully planned out using weight drain, selective match making and non-disclosed contract stipulations. now it appears he was doing all of the above. smh.

    i agree.

that's why when pac offered to pay floyd to he wont get sued, floyd agreed.

part of their agreement was pac would apologize and admit he used peds.

these are all in court records, irrefutable.
