We are going no where here, you just don't understand that you can lose but beat other fighters. I won't reply to any of your Maidana posts anymore because we keep going in circles. Ha i am to blame for this as much as you so lets just leave it.

Why do you think Khan never exercised the rematch clause? It was a good fight and the rematch would have sold.

Obvious to me Khan wouldn't last the second fight. Look at what he has achieved recently.

If these guys are c+ then you are probably ZZZ. They are all top fighters. I just don't like someone who fights for a world title being called c+.

That's like saying Frank Ribery is c+ because he keeps losing the best footballer of the year award.

    I don't think so.

I don't think either fighter has changed that dramatically. Khan is still quicker and more fragile. Maidana is still more powerful and tougher. Khan can still be hurt. Maidana can still be out boxed. I think Khan would scrape a decision again. Maidana would be dangerous all the way through but not quite able to pull it off again.

Its a tough one but i think since Khan left Roach and perhaps even more importantly Ariza, Khan can't seem to take punishment any more. He didn't have great resistance at the best of times but i thinks its at an all time low now. Brutalized vs Garcia without Ariza then Wobbled vs that nobody Molina and floored and hurt vs Diaz. Not good signs.

Maidana has shown improvements under Garcia, punch selection is much better, uses the jab and is just less predictable(not just looking for the overhand right anymore like vs Khan), even uses head movement and slips punches but his defense will always be his weak spot.

Maidana stops Khan this time i feel unless Khan rolls back the years and has one last great performance in him. 2010 version of Khan was a really good fighter and Maidana won rounds and almost stopped him so the 2014 Maidana i feel is better than the 2014 Khan. (Khan hasn't been that active i know but i can only judge him on his last 3 fights)

Also take into an account Maidana has had 5 fights at WW now, and is used to the weight while Khan would be new to the weight.

To be honest, with all this talk of if it should Khan or Maidana that gets the Mayweather shot, I think they should fight eachother and whoever wins gets Mayweather.

you don't see the better balance, technique, better tactics and gameplan? He's showing more headmovent nowadays, more jabbing and mixing his punches better.

Maidana is much better and I believe is punching harder now also from the better technique. Before he used to club with his overhand right and throw it like a baseball. Now he's really turning the punch over and putting more leverage behind it
