Years from now, the question will come up why this fight didn't happen.

At that time it will pointed out that, during the Golden Era of Steroids in sports, the fight fell apart because one fighter requested the best testing available and the other fighter refused.

It's going to be hard to explain to a generation of kids where this sort of testing will be standard operating procedure and raised to be skeptical of previous records and accomplishments due to the proliferation of steroids that the guy who actually wanted the additional testing was the one who 'ducked'.

    YMMV.

Floyd has more to lose if he faces pac. Even if floyd wins (based on both their recent performances, most will agree floyd has the upperhand) he will be criticized for not fighting him when he was at the top of his game. But nevertheless, not facing pac will haunt him bec when he's out declaring himself to be the best, people will always ask him why he didn't face pac.

The difference is that Gamboa is a freak and would have a chance. JMM had no chance against Floyd, particularly the way Floyd fought in an ultra conservative manner, against a guy coming up two weight divisions.

Pac is not conservative and Gamboa is very fast, has good power, comes from the greatest amateur boxing school and has nothing to lose.

This would be better than the Rios fight.

for me he would've been the best boxer i ever seen. Most accurate and top 5 defensive fighter ever. I dont see anybody boxing right now that will pass him, have a following like him, drop 2 mil buys.

For casuals they will remember the record, and with casuals only watching like 2-3 fights a year then they would say hes the best ever! hahaha

No one cares about Pac anymore. When a guy looks mediorce against radley, gets outboxed by an old Marquez, and then KTFO by an even older Marquez, people realize he wasn't in the same league as Mayweather

Rocky was a beast. u saying he wasnt an ATG? I have a feeling Thurman can possibly go undefeated, boy got skills

For some people of course, for other no.

For me I see Pac ducked Mayweather for not taking test. if Mayweather had said no to a test i would've said he ducked. down the road 40 mil offer and an actual phone call to make a fight was big in my eyes. 40 mil was a little low but the most Pac had ever made was 15-25 for a fight. he turned that down.

Now if Pac actually leaves Arum and the fight doesnt get made that it real really tarnish Floy'ds legacy, there mo more excuses after that.

For casual fans they know Floyd is undefeated and they know Pac is a beast but will always rememeber him get KO cold, thats a casual fans perspective.

    so its yes and no
