Duran for me. He established himself as the best lightweight of his era and one of the best ever there, maybe the best. Based on that alone he's a great. Then he beats the best welterweight in the world, takes the best middleweight to a close decision and later on beats the young and strong Iran Barkley in the FOTY for 1989 to capture the middleweight title. That's pretty special. His troughs were pretty horrible that's true, but his peaks were fantastic. Wait, what? Did I miss something?

I think that once you look at Durans resume and take in account that he is probably the best LW of all time and the fact that he held titles in 4 or 5 different divisions, It makes it much easier to choose Duran over the other 3!
