You guys are going too far with this. Im not even a RJJ fan, but GGG hasnt done anything yet. We don't even know how he deals with a guy who CAN take his power, what happens when theres a role reversal? A guy who can take his punches, and he can't take their punches. This has to stop. Wait until he proves himself against top competition, for all we know he could be exposed in the next year.

I like GGG, but Prime, Middleweight Roy Jones is probably the best H2H fighter in HISTORY. WAY too fast for Golovkin to catch him, and had a pretty solid beard even if did get hit.

Thanks man, I agree Roy's run is tainted, but I'm also of the philosophy ALL these top guys are on some gear or PED of some sort. It's not right, but it's reality. :-(

Come on, are you guys being serious? Without even checking it out i'd bet that those roids RJJ is said to have been using at one point in his career, was later on when he gained weight and worked his way up through the weightclasses. Because steoroids makes you gain muscles which means you become heavier. MW was RJJ's original weightclass. And how can be so sure that he would get KO'd when he was never KO'd at before his drop down from HW to LHW against bigger gauys than GGG? Why didn't Toney knock him out if he is so easily caught and KO'd? I like GGG but some of you guys are overrating an untested fighter who never a guy with that kind of speed and power. Get real :)

    Wow...

Some of the posts in this thread are flat out sad...

160lbs Jones was on a different level, and it isn't even close.

Because nowhere does it ask about a "clean" Jones, even though there is not one bit of proof 160 lbs Jones was a dirty fighter....

Boxing is full of roiders, Roy fought plenty of them himself... It doesn't change the fact that Roy was naturally one of the most gifted fighters ever, no steroid can turn you into Roy Jones, there was a special talent there regardless.

No steroid can turn you into Ben Johnston either

We wont ever know how good Roy was/could have been naturally. because he was a filthy career cheat who once caught doping became a shell of his former self

    Remind you of anyone lately?

His dirty test happened in 2000. He wasn't a shell of his former self until years later when he came back down from HW, and there's absolutely no proof that he ever used anything illegal outside of the lead up to the Hall fight.

Surprised Jones Jr KO is the most popular option considering GGG has never been put on the canvas (as far as I'm aware) and RJJ never KO'd anyone particularly good at 160. Surely a decision win is most likely?

GGG would easily knock him out. He is the greatest middleweight of all time. They need to hrie a cleanup crew after to sweep up the shattered glass everywhere.

Roy was a special boxing talent with or without roids.. And he was still plenty good after being caught against Hall who had twice the amount in his body.. Shouldn't Hall have done better? It seems you think roids make that big of a difference if it makes you question how good Roy Jones was...
