but Murat who gassed after 4 rounds can land plenty of leather, but Kovalev can't?

i even had that fight a draw, but the usual score cards you get over there made an appearance.

Kovalev would have this version of Bernard out of there within 5 rounds with an all out ruthless display of violence. so it's you who needs to get out of town.

when was Hopkins caught up in exchanges on the inside with Tarver? :huh

we watched different fights, Dino. as usual.

Hopkins was too far gone when he fought Dawson also. plus, Dawson just kept him at reach and played Bernard's game of stinking out the place by doing nothing for 12 rounds.

as i've already said to someone else, Murat landed plenty, so would Kovalev. only Kov would break Hopkins up real bad and stop him.

What did Dawson do in that fight that Kovalev couldn't?

Im talking modern Dawson here. Not the mobile, high volume Dawson who beat Tarver.

Dawson is much quicker than Kovalev and he's longer than him too. Dawson would always be a tough fight for an older Hopkins.

Kovalev is a good fighter who would most likely beat Hopkins and probably Stevenson as well, but he's an easier style matchup than Dawson.

Skillacka was quick on his feet and was cut off and put to sleep in 2. A slow fighter doesn't do that and Dawson certainly didn't have the speed to do it.

Kovalev is quick and relentless with brute power and a jab no worse than Dawsons. If Hop lost wide to Dawson he will have nightmares against Kovalev so i can't see how it would be an easier match up.

Yeah, that's why everyone anywhere close to Bernard's age who has been caught using that stuff is still competing at the championship level.

    Oh wait... :huh

Oh, Mr PR's b-tch. you have sooooo much to learn about boxing.
Calling Cloud fast shows you've never watched him fight. You could
slip his punches blind folded, whereas Kovalev doesn't telegraph his
straight and accurate shots and throws them in bunches.

Save your fingers. Kovalev is the wrong color for Mr PR's b-tch to objectively analyze him.

cutting off the ring has more to do with technique than footspeed. Pacquiao can't cut off the ring worth a damn, but his feet were much quicker than Chavez or a GGG.

Correct. It's about timing, good footwork, and technique, not necessarily fast foot speed.
