Oh *****, you ******ed uneducated *****. Are you telling me that Pacquiao doesn't have huge fan base? I've posted this on a different thread but MAYWEATHER IS NOT REALLY DRAW!

Mayweather fight Mexican boxers with huge fan base. He fight on Mexican holidays. Who do you think bought those PPV? He did well on his fight with Canelo, thanks to Canelo and the good undercard.

Pacquiao on the other hand, fought Clottey and drew 750k. That's against someone who's not really popular. In addition, the under card wasn't at all impressive.

So tell me, if Mayweather fights on a different date against a relatively unknown boxer, how much would draw? :deal

Sounds like Mayweather is a smart businessman. Pac on the other hand... :-(

But to answer your question, look no further than Guerrero. Sure it was still a holiday, but casual boxing fans had no clue who Guerrero was and he still did over a million buys. Are you saying that's only because Guerrero is Mexican? Pac was once called the Mexecutioner. Now you have a problem with fighting Mexicans? I guess Pac's not a draw either. Rios is Mexican. Still couldn't draw.

    Guerrero/Mayweather did 870K
That fight occurred on a Mexican holiday and was stacked with Mexican fighters such as Leo Santa Cruz, Abner Mares, Ponce De Leon, etc. Still couldn't draw past 870k.

But Pac had China's national hero on the undercard in an area that draws 6x the revenue than vegas. And according to progayer spent 30M promoting/hosting it. And he couldn't get past 450K PPV?

450kx ppv price ~ 30kk. fight paid for itself.

macau roughly made in the vicinity of 200kk via gaming/gambling.

    pac brings the high rollers.:good

:-( Where the **** did I say I have a problem with Mayweather fighting Mexicans? I said that he fight those with huge fan base. That doesn't mean that just because a boxer is Mexican doesn't mean he has a fan base. Are ***** really so stupid that you need to point out everything little thing to them?

FYI, his fight with Guerrero only made 870k. You think Guerrero was an unknown? I bet, to *****s all other boxers aside from Floyd, even Manny is an unknow.

Rios is coming off a lose and no he is not a draw. The fight was advertise a Pac's come back - a tune up fight. Who would watch that? 450k for a tune up fight is pretty good. :deal

You're not really understanding, eh? What would've happened if Mayweather had fought someone like Clottey? How much would he draw?

According to ESPN, it did more than 1 million buys. Now whose calculations should I trust? A *******? Or a reputable news source?

Naw, you the one that is uneducated cause Mayweather has a huge fanbase and when he fights, he demands an equal if not some what larger drawing potential from his opponents. That's how you expand the pot and it is about money. Pac was new to the public and came in like a hurricane. He was an oddity and a super hype job. People will pay to see that and Arum and crew rode him for all he was worth. He can't draw like that now because people are aware. As for Mayweather, he has charisma, he is a star and he brings out the stars. People go where the stars go. He will always have a huge fan base.:bbb

So you make excuses for Pacquiao while holding Mayweather to a higher standard. I see. You admire Floyd and expect more from him than you do Pac. I would too if I just saw my hero get KTFO. How would Floyd do in a tune up? I don't know. Floyd doesn't need a tune up.

How would Floyd do against Clottey? I don't know. Floyd wouldn't fight a Clottey (see previous remarks about him being a smart businessman).

Truth is your boy doesn't draw these days. He spent more time unconscious than he did counting his money and now he's begging for a fight. He needs to Pay Tim his money, get knocked out again, and then cash out after Bob is done milking him.

A Bradley-Pac matchup wont sell more than Pac's fight with Rios, so there is'nt enough money there to pay Bradley 10 million.

10 million is what they offered Marquez and each of his last two fights with Pacquiao has sold well over 1 million.
Pac vs Bradley would do less than 500k.

Bradley did 700k with Pac the first time when he really was not known. Now he has 3 solid wins in a row against Pac, Marquez, and Provadikov. I think it does similar numbers if not better with a good undercard.:patsch
