It's not the loss that worries me it will be the manner of it Rigo has the ability to make guys look awful even if they are good fighters.Thats what I fear the most for Carl, the Americans are very fickle so it might be very hard to come back from that.I think Santa Cruz would make for a much more interesting fight fight,it's winnable and it's a fight that could make him a star.

Boxing has also been about longer than Barry McGuigan! Moving with the times.

Obviously, but Barry McGuigan is a boxing man and Carl trust's him a lot more than he does Hearn!
As for moving with the times. Time standstill with trust :D

If it's the right decision for him then it's fine! Time will tell (hopefully it wont standstill for too long before he has his next fight) :good

I am a massive fan of Frampton and i think he has the ability to be the best fighter in the UK and an elite fighter at world level, but fighting Rigo would be the dumbest move ever, Frampton would have no and i mean zero chance of beating Rigondeaux, someone mentioned the payday, fighting against LSC makes far more money hell nobody in America wants to even show a Rigo fight.

I agree with him. He makes perfect sense to me.
Please explain why you are clogging up my recreational time with silly personal attacks?
I use this forum to discuss boxing. I dont want to be confronted with this rubbish from you during my "down time". So please stop. Please. You dig?

I'll put that one down to your judgement being clouded by grief, Lewis.
In fairness you have been through a lot lately. What with the perfectly timed stoppage of Groves, Barkers loss to Sturm ( I DID try to warn you), and now your heros retirement, it's not been easy for you......:p. ;)

I don't see why not, as capable as Frampton is, he's a massive underdog against Santa Cruz, a large gate in Dublin gets him a good payday, I imagine something larger than he's earning per fight under GBP.

Its something that should interest them (thats team Santa Cruz as a whole not just Golden Boy), not the other way around.

It's a shame that Frampton gave up his European title rather than face his mandatory.

I think Frampton can beat anyone not named Rigondeaux tbh

Rigondeaux is a terrific boxer. Hes fast, he hits you cleanly, and he hardly gets hit. Its in and out, too fast for anyone. If you watch his fights he stays so far away that you have no chance in connecting, then in the blink of an eye he gains so much room to connect a jab down below and then a second up top. Then hes out again before you know it

Hes too good, but hes a stinker lets be honest. He's in the who needs him club and will not be suprised if he doesnt get another big fight, the others will fight it out and pretend he dont exist
