the thing is, when it comes to boxing, floyd knows more about you.

the hesitation doenst come from the money that he is supposed to earn or miss.

he avoided the dela hoya rematch as well, pottentially 3m+ ppv buys. so money isnt his main motivator.

his motivation is keeping his 0. his boxing knowledge is telling him, he cant win, so avoid the fight at all cost.

he cant use the money excuse bec there is plenty to be made, so he has to think of something different.

well he found something that stuck, and the rest is ducking history at its worst.

floyd's history of ducking fighters that posed real risks to his 0 is pretty well known. but they were pretty easy to dismiss. "he doesnt bring money to the table, it doesnt make sense".
